Creed's POV

"Are you sure about this Creed?" asked Anemone

Everyone was in a tent listening to my proposal.

"Yes I'm sure." I replied

Anemone sighed and looked at the others.

"Creed, look around you. We barely have people to even fill up this camp." said Anemone, "If we spread out more we'll be crushed for sure."

"That's why I'm only asking for a small group to come with me." I said, "I have a bigger goal now that I've finished finding humans."

"What's that?" asked Anemone

"I want to reclaim this world." I said

Everyone in the tent looked at each other and started chatting.

"Creed, let's take one step at a time." said Anemone

"I am. I know it sounds crazy but I have a few stepping stones I need to take." I replied, "The first is retaking Japan."

"Creed you can't be serious." said Avery

"I'm serious." I replied

"How are we going to reclaim Japan when you want to bring a small group?" asked Avery

"I'm not going to retake Japan with that. I'm going to scout out every acre of land." I said

Everyone around was a bit uneasy.

"Look I know you guys feel really uneasy about this and I understand but I don't have to take a lot of people, it'll just be a few of you." I said

"I'm going with him." said 2B

"That was to be expected." sighed Anemone, "If you scout out Japan, how long do you think it'll take?"

"I don't know. Probably another two years?" I questioned

Anemone thought about it but shook her head.

"I'm going to need some time to decide." she said

I sighed and nodded. Everyone dispersed out of the tent so I left the tent and found a place to sit. 2B came and sat next to me and she seemed to be observing.

"Are you okay?" asked 2B

"I am, I just want to do the things before I die." I said

I coughed a bit and sighed.

"I don't have that much time left." I implied

2B held out her hand in front of me so I took it and we interlocked fingers.

"I only want to spend it with you." said 2B

"So do I." I replied

She sat on my lap so I hugged her from behind and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Do you think we'll discover something new?" I asked

2B looked at me and began to play with my hair.

"Can I tell you something?" she asked

"Yea what is it?" I asked

"Ever since the day we found you, my life took a drastic turn. Before we found you, I thought I wouldn't be able to change anything." said 2B, "I hated it, my life was like a cycle. After death, I go back to fighting with no rest. The only light I had in my life was Nines."

"You must have been lonely." I added

"I was very lonely, only Nines was there. But I felt like there were so many things I could be doing instead of fighting all the time. That's when you came into my life. You helped me understand the importance of living on this world." said 2B
