At night

Arnav heard someone entering his room. He knew that no stranger could enter his room as none of the alarms went off so he stayed silent waiting. After few seconds he heard someone looking in his side table and then heard shuffling of things he couldn't control so he opened his eyes and held hand of intruder. Arnav with his other hand switch on the bedside lamp.

Arnav : What are you doing here?

Person : wo wo I... I... I have come to take medicine as my injury is paining a lot.

Arnav looking at the medicine strip in her hand : since when diabetes medicine have started working as pain killers.

Khushi couldn't think of anything so she said :aahh while trying to touch her feet. Seeing her in pain he got up instantly.

Arnav : sit... (He made her sit on the bed) I told you to rest can't you understand simple things

Arnav tried to hold her leg but she pulled it away.

Arnav : let me see.... May be it is bleeding .

Arnav took out pain killer and gave it to her : keep the strip you may need it

Khushi : hmmmm.

Khushi kept on looking at him and said : I m going to my room as I m fine now.

Arnav extending his hand for her to hold : ok let me help you.

Khushi : No you have already helped me alot.....
Saying this she tried to get up.

Arnav pulled her back and said : why you always do opposite of what I say

Saying this he got up from the bed and picked her in his arm and headed towards her room. Reaching her room he placed her on her bed and turned to go back, at room's door he said :  i have taken my medicine... there was no need to hurt yourself and increase your pain.

Khushi : what about the pain some people are giving me.

Arnav thought I m tolerating all this just to free you from it.

Arnav turned towards her and said : very soon it will also vanish from your life.

Saying this he went away from there.

Inside his bedroom he stood near the French door and looked at the sky remembering the day he decided to give Khushi freedom from this relationship

Flashback

He was working in his office when a call diverts his attention. Seeing the ID he quickly recieved it.

ASR : yes

......

ASR : are you sure.

....

ASR : name of the guy

......

ASR : you keep me posted about Khushi. I need a complete background check of Mohit by tomorrow.

Hearing what the person has to say he lost all his interest in his work and went to his house all the way thinking jo mere source ne ye bataya hai ki tum kisi larke se close ho kya ye sach hai.

Reaching home he went straight in his room

Looking at Khushi's pic he said :After mumma Khushi only you had same place as my mumma. I was giving you time to accept our relationship and you decided to move on... Why

Soon Lavanya came inside his room ASR : why are you upset??? is Khushi sick again??? .

ASR was silent.

Lavanya : what happened .

ASR : I think she has decided to move on.

Lavanya with happiness following in her voice : really

ASR glare at her.

Lavanya : what you will do now.

ASR : I will let her decide .

Lavanya : I wish you would have loved me like you love her

ASR : I m not interested in all this talk I think you should go.

As Lavanya leaves he turns to Khushi's pic and caresses while saying : your happiness was my priority even then.. This time I let you choose again

Flashback ends

Arnav thought : Mumma why you have left me.....

Getting tired of standing he lie down on the couch and sleep slowly took over him.

Next morning

ASR : nani I m going to Mumbai today

Nani : all of a sudden

ASR looking at  Khushi : some work will be done smoothly when I m not here

At that very moment a young guy enters the house.

Guy : Hello beautiful ladies and gentlemen.

Nani : finally you remember us

He came and hugged Khushi from behind and said : my girl friend these days stays more at home rather than college aur restaurant so I have to act cautiously.

Seeing him hugging Khushi ASR couldn't help and ask : you are?

Guy : Mohit,  Mohit seghal.  Khushi's best friend and only boyfriend.

Hearing his reply ASR pushed his chair and went to his car.

Khushi : you shouldn't have said that

When Khushi glares at him he says ok baba sorry and goes and hugs Nani and Anjali one by one. 

Turning towards Khushi he said : lets go we are getting late for the college  while stuffing a paratha inside his mouth while chatting with rest of the ladies.

Once he was done he pulled Khushi out of the house and both headed towards her college. But what they both failed to notice was the black Audi following them.

Once they reached the college both got down from the bike. Soon Mohit wrapped his hand around her neck and whispers something intially she nods no but he kept on whispering in her ear till she smiled and nodded yes.

Man sitting in the car his hold on steering gets tighter with each passing second.

ASR POV

Detective was right she has decided to move on and even my whole family has accepted it. None of them thought of me. I shouldn't have come here in the first place but now i need to go from here as soon as possible. Deciding this he turn his car and headed towards AR.
