TW: slurs (well, just one at the very end)
George awoke to the morning light streaming through the blinds. He seemed to be lying on a large warm pillow...
Dream. He was lying half on top of Dream, his face buried in his chest. Dream's arms were wrapped around George in a warm hug, but luckily he was still asleep. George panicked. Had Dream meant to do this? Or had they arranged themselves in this position whilst they were asleep? Neither option seemed good.
George cautiously tried to roll off Dream, but he tightened his grip around George.
Dream mumbled. "No, don't go.."
George froze. He didn't want Dream to wake up cuddling him. It would be better if only one of them knew, so it wouldn't be as awkward. On the other hand, it was awfully comfortable here, in Dream's arms. He could just go back to sleep and deal with it later...

Dream awoke a few hours later. His arms were still wrapped around George, and the smaller man was still fast asleep. Dream hadn't meant to cuddle George like this, but to be honest, he didn't mind. George looked so cute as he slept, his brown hair messy and sticking up in every which way. His lips parted slightly with every exhale.
Dream spaced out, taking in George's adorable features, committing it all to his memory. Suddenly, George stirred and slowly awoke. His eyes opened, and he quickly realized where he was. Still on top of Dream. Then, he registered that Dream was awake, and staring at George. Blush bloomed on his cheeks.
"Good morning!" Dream spoke softly.
George looked at Dream. Their faces were so close. If he just tilted his head up a little bit- No. No, don't think about that. George mumbled a "good morning" in reply, and sat up.
"Hey, now I'm cold!" Dream whined.
"Deal with it," George said, jokingly. "Yeah, sorry about that, I don't know what happened.."
"It's okay. I'm going to make breakfast for us, you can take a shower if you'd like," Dream said, standing up. "Fresh towels are in the closet."
"Thanks," George replied. He exited the room, walking towards the bathroom. Dream went over to his dresser and pulled out a fresh hoodie and jeans. Tugging the hoodie over his head as he made his way to the kitchen, Dream was lost in thought. He could have leaned down just a little bit and kissed George... Dream shook the though from his mind, turning instead to what George might like for breakfast. He settled on some bacon and eggs. As the bacon sizzled in the frying pan, George came down the stairs. His hair was still damp, but it had clearly been brushed. He was wearing-
"George, is that my hoodie?"
George looked down at the blue smile hoodie he was wearing. "Yeah. I hope you don't mind. I forgot to pack hoodies, and besides, this hoodie smells like you."
Dream raised his eyebrows. "And that's a good thing, I hope?"
George realized his mistake, the familiar blush creeping up his cheeks again. He looked down at the floor, examining the wood. "Yeah, it is." he muttered.
Dream chuckled, turning back to the stove. "I'm making bacon and eggs. Does that sound alright?" he asked over his shoulder.
"Mhmm, thanks." George hummed, sitting at the kitchen island. "Any way I can help?"
"Yeah, can you get some plates?"
George stood up to retrieve some plates and set them by the stove.
"Thanks."
"Any plans today?" George inquired.
"No, not really. We could go to an aquarium though, there's one really close by."
"Sounds good!" said George, reaching around Dream to nab a bit of bacon.
Dream chuckled. "Alright then! Liquid zoo it is."

The aquarium was in the middle of the bustling city, a 15 minute drive away from Dream's house. They went up to the counter. "Two adult tickets, please." Dream asked, taking out his wallet.
"Here you go! Enjoy the aquarium." The woman behind the counter handed them each a wristband.
There was a giant tank in the first room, full of tropical fish and bright corals. At the moment, there was a diver in it, blowing bubbles and waving at a cluster of excited children.
As they walked further into the aquarium, George's hand accidentally brushed against Dream's. Dream took it, intertwining his fingers with George's. A tingle went up George's arm, butterflies erupting in his stomach.
They were watching some jellyfish floating around in a lit up tank when they heard a female voice from behind.
"Dream, you f****t!"
