Thought you had me, that you had me completely.
Thought at your own game you would beat me.
Thought you could push me under, that you could get me down.
Thought you could steal my confidence, leave me lost without you around.
Thought you could tear me up and break me.
Thought you could destroy and unmake me.
Thought you'd be standing tall and I would be crushed and crying.
Thought you could take my light and leave this candle dying.
Thought you were the winner and that you'd remain undefeated.
Thought you were untouchable, that nobody would ever know that at this game you cheated.
Thought you were Mr Right, Mr Never Do Any Wrong.
Thought you were the subject of every flattering song.
Thought you'd walk away, without a trace of evidence.
Thought you had didn't you, that much is very evident.
Thought you did a lot, time to think again.
Think of how wrong you are my not-so-much friend.
Think of how I'm standing tall in front of you.
Think of how strong and alive I look too.
Think of the fearlessness, the bravery in my eyes.
Think of the courage and confidence, there is no disguise.
Think of all the mistakes you made, now laid bare.
Think of the hurt and pain you caused while you stop and stare.
Think of how un-phased I am, can you stand the blinding power.
Think of how I reclaimed everything you took, I no longer cower.
Think of everything, and think on it again.
Think of how the tables turned on you in the bitter end.
Think of how you played me, and what you now see.
Think of how this will be the last you'll see of me.
Think of me and see I am not defeated, not rock bottom any longer.
Think of how the game you played only made me stronger.
