"LILY I LOVE YOU LILY I DO WHEN WE'RE APART MY HEART BEATS ONLY FOR YOU!" James sung loudly as he skipped behind an annoyed Lily Evans as she made her way to the train.
Behind him were his three best friends, all sighing and shaking their heads at their friends whipped behavior.
"James mate, don't you think this is all getting old? I mean, we're now official sixth years starting today." Sirius said softly before easing his hand and smacking him harshly on the back of the head. "Lily will never love you! Snap out of it!"
James groaned, reaching up to rub the back of his head as the rest of the Marauders laughed at his misfortune.
Lily took his distraction as her escape and quickly ran into the crowd before James noticed she was gone.
"I hate you." James pouted once we finally took notice of the Evans girl escape about thirty seconds later.
"Yea yea yea." Sirius said as he boarded the train behind Remus and Peter.
"Are you guys ready for summer?" Peters squeaky voice filled the hall as they made their way to their regular compartment.
It was the end of fifth year and they were all finally heading home for summer. Well for Remus and Peter James's home as the boys were all going to be spending their summer at the Potters.
"Oh yea." Remus nodded happily as he pulled out a book from his bag. "Mrs. Potter is a great cook."
"I'm ready." Sirius smirked misheviously as he flopped down next to Peter on the seat across from James and Remus.
"I don't like that look." Remus narrowed his eyes at his best friend. "What are you plotting?"
"Yea." James piped in. "Cause I want in on it."
Sirius snickered as he turned his attention to James, his smirk growing wider. "Did your parents really not say anything?"
"About what?" James asked confused, his eyebrows furrowed and head tilted as he thought over any important news his parents had told him.
"Your new neighbors of course." Sirius said as he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back in his seat.
"New neighbors?" James asked with wide eyes, glancing at a just as confused Remus and a snoring Peter. "What are you on about?"
"You're getting new neighbors." Sirius repeated with an eye roll. "And I happen to know them."
"Who are they?" Remus joined the conversation.
"The Cooks." Sirius said, a smile growing on his face. "They are another wizarding family, I actually lived next to them for a few years before they moved away to France. I'm good friends with their daughter JJ and her two best friends that live with her."
