Chapter Five
"I Love You."

3rd person POV!

"Uhh, I think you two skipped a few steps," Reiji pointed out, looking down at the new couple.

"What do you mean?"

Killua's head laid in Y/n's lap, while she played with his fluffy hair and smiled down at him.

Reiji sweatdropped, and decided to brush it off. "Anyway, Gon left to run a few errands for Mito-san, and now I'm bored. But I don't wanna be a third wheel sooo."

"'Kay, bye, Rei," Y/n simply said, still playing with Killua's hair.

Reiji huffed and slumped over, expecting them to stop him from going off on his own. Poor Rei. I'd keep you company if you'd like :< Sorry, back to the story.

Reiji turned on his heel and headed 🎶straight for the floor🎶*coughs* I mean straight for the front door.

He swung the door open, and slammed it behind him. He was going to go search for Gon.

..Or so he thought.

"REI REI REI REI REEEEIIII!!!" Gon shouted, popping out of nowhere and running towards Reiji.

"WHAT THE-" Reiji felt his soul leave his body. Gon tackled him into a hug, dropping his bags down beside him.

He pulled back, and looked down at Reiji. "Hi," was all that he said.

Reiji smiled and pushed Gon off of him playfully, sitting up at the same time. "Hi, Gon."

"I found a flyer laying on the ground of the path to the town nearby! It advertises a little underground carnival!" Gon handed Reiji the flyer.

He looked down at it, examining it carefully. There were photos of a little roller coaster, a ferris wheel, and a bunch of other attractions. And yes, they were all underground.

"Huh.. I didn't know such a thing existed.." Reiji mumbled, reading a paragraph on the other side.

The paragraph read "Come, to our brand new underground carnival, Dreamscape!"

"Seems pretty sketch," Reiji commented, not even bothering to read anything past "Dreamscape."

"Come ooooon, can we go??" Gon asked, giving Reiji puppy eyes.

Reiji scrunched up his face, trying to resist the cuteness of Gon's puppy eyes. Oh, and Gon in general.

"MmmMMPh- fIIIiiIiInNNnEEE," Reiji said, sighing and closing his eyes.

"Yay! Thank you, Rei!! I'll go tell the other two!!" Gon said, snatching the paper from his hand and running inside to get Y/n and Killua.

Just as Gon reached to open the door, Y/n swung it open with an oblivious grin on her face. Gon flew past her, and landed face first on the floor.

"Oo, whatcha got there, Gon? Is it a love letter?" Y/n asked, peeking at the paper he was holding.

"That's exactly what I wanted to show you!" Gon said up, beaming with happiness. "There's a new underground carnival called Dreamscape, and it-"

"Oh, we were just on our way there now!" Y/n smiled, standing back up and holding Killua's hand.

"Wait, you guys knew about this already?" Reiji asked, popping out of nowhere and cutting in to the conversation.

"Yeah, we've known for a few weeks, actually. We were just waiting for it to finally open up!" Killua said, intertwining their fingers.

"Well, we have no time to waste! Let's go!!" Gon cheered, running out the door and pointing towards the little town.
