Chapter 24

Laura's Pov

Ki got home a little over an hour ago, and he's watching Hudson and Colton so Tab and I can get ready for tonight. Tab said, "I called Corey and he's gonna come over and help Ki handle the boys."

"What would we do without him? Corey is too good to us." "He's a special little boy. That's for sure."

"Tab. Do you have a little crush on Corey?" "What? No."

"Oh you dirty little liar. You have a thing for Corey. Oh my gosh! That's so cute! Please get together and make more babies!" "Slow your roll there. Me and Corey are not gonna date."

"That's what you say now. If I recall, I think I said the same exact thing about me and Ki when you found out I had a crush on him, and now look where we are. I married him and we have a child." "Okay. But we all knew you and Ki were going to live happily ever after."

"I'm just saying. You and Corey would make some pretty cute kids." "Oh I am not ready for another one yet. Hudson is rambunctious enough. Thanks to your husband."

"Hey. You can't blame it completely on Kian." "No. Not completely. But it's mostly his fault."

"You're probably right."

We finished getting ready and went downstairs. Ki said, "Well I see that you two went all out. I like the matchy matchy."

I said, "We look hot and you know it." "Ew. I don't wanna call my big sister hot. That's fucking weird."

"First of all, don't cuss in front of the kids. Second of all, you could at least call me hot." He pulled me down in his lap and said, "You look incredibly sexy."

"Thank you baby." He kissed me and said, "Just behave yourself tonight. And don't let the boys be all over Tab."

"I am not gonna cockblock Tab." "Babe. Tab isn't allowed to have guys grinding up on her."

I rolled my eyes and said, "She's your older sister. You can't baby her." "Yes I can. She's still my sister and even though I'm younger than her, it's still my job to protect her."

"Whatever you say babe." "Don't be sassy with me."

"I do what I want." "If we ever have a daughter, I'm hiding from her when she gets her monthly visitor. If you're this sassy now, I can't imagine how sassy our future daughter will be."

"This is what you married. You gotta live with the consequences." "Oh I know baby. And I'm more than happy to live with the consequences of marrying you."

I kissed him and said, "I love you." "I love you more baby girl."

Soon the girls and Corey were there, so we said goodbye to the boys, headed to dinner. Once we got to the restaurant, we ate and messed around.

After we paid, we made our way to the club. Fran said, "I am so excited that you decided to go out with us. We haven't had a girls' night in ages."

"I didn't really have a choice in the matter. My husband and sister-in-law are kind of hard asses." Iz said, "Hey. Don't blame me for this."

"Oh you know which sister-in-law I was talking about." Tab said, "You needed this. We ALL needed this."

"I mean. You're not wrong there." Nez said, "Yeah. Some time away from the boys will do us good."

"Aw is Crawf getting annoying." "Only sometimes. You wouldn't believe the lecture he gave me before I left."

"He gave you a lecture?" "More just telling me how gorgeous I am and how I need to make sure that none of us drink too much, and like not to go anywhere alone. Ya know, that kind of stuff."

"Okay. I guess I can't be mad at him for that." "He was just trying to make sure all of us are safe. But Laura, if you wanna get shitfaced, none of us will stop you. One of us just has to stay somewhat sober so we can get home safe."

"I mean. I wasn't planning on getting shitfaced. But I guess we'll see where the night takes us." Tab said, "I like the sound of that."

We spent the next few hours really having the time of our lives. Iz decided that she would be the person who would stay the most sober, so around 1am, she dragged all of us out of the club and got us in an Uber.

We got back to the house, and to say I was wasted, is a HUGE understatement. Iz helped me inside and Ki said, "Geez. Y'all really got her shitfaced."

He took me from Iz and got me on the couch. Corey said, "I don't think I've ever seen her this drunk."

Fran said, "Yeah. She may have gone a little wild. But she deserved it, so we weren't gonna stop her." Tab said, "She's gonna be real hungover in the morning, so make sure you have precautions."

Ki said, "I got it Tab." Soon everyone left and Ki was carrying me up to our room.

He laid me on the bed and got me changed into one of his sweatshirts and took off my makeup. He laid next to me and said, "How many drinks did you have tonight babe?"

"I don't know. I lost count. But it was so fun." He laughed at me and said, "I forgot how cute you are when you're drunk."

"No. I'm not cute, I'm hot." "Yes baby. You're hot."

I got on top of him and said, "We should have sex." "Woah. Babe. You're drunk."

"So what? We're married. You always have my consent." "I just don't want you to regret this in the morning."

"I won't. It's been a while. And I want to have sex with you." "Are you sure?"

"Yes baby." He pulled me down to him and kissed me. Things got real heated from there.

Once we were finished, he put his sweatshirt back on me and said, "Get some rest baby doll. I'm gonna go check on Colton and I'll be right back."

"Promise?" "Yes baby I promise."

He kissed the top of my head and walked out of the room. I got comfy on the bed, but before I could fall asleep, I heard him talking to Colton. I smiled at the sound of him being so cute with our baby boy.

He came back in a few minutes later and laid in the bed next to me. I laid my head on his chest and said, "I love how you talk to our little man." "Oh. You heard that?"

I giggled at him and said, "Yeah. Baby monitor, remember?" "Oh yeah. I kind of forgot that was in here."

"Ya know. I really love you baby." "I really love you too baby doll."

"How many more kids do you think we'll have?" "I don't know babe. I'd say at least two more."

"You think?" "Yeah. I mean. We've gotta give little man some siblings to look after."

"I wanna have a girl next." "I don't think we get to choose that baby doll."

"You're right. But that's just kind of my hope." "That's understandable baby. You're extremely outnumbered by guys right now. It's understandable that you'd want a mini me. Now get some rest baby doll."

He kissed the top of my head and soon I was asleep.
