𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑. 𝙡. 𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣

𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 1 𓃗

You and the rest of your squad mates were practicing how to make better use of your ODM gear. That was until everyone heard a huge explosion. You all saw a flash of lights coming from the woods that it made it seem like they were on fire. "Just keep practicing!." Yelled your squad leader, Kenta. Honestly she was the type to not care unless there was actual trouble.

Everyone kept practicing until there was another 'explosion'. Everyone stopped this time to look at Kenta, all with a poker face on them. She rolled her eyes and nodded as an order for everyone to make their way into the woods. No one was familiar with the place since you all were from outside those huge walls that have existed for probably about 100 years.

You guys had noticed that a certain spot was filled with titans. The hell, you thought since you probably have never seen just one spot filled with that many titans. Some of your squad mates were strong, but they were new. Their mentality was probably not in a good state. They all seemed scared by the looks in their eyes. You honestly felt bad because you've seen many people die because of their fears.

"You all know what to do!." Yelled Kenta as you all were only a few trees away from the titans, everyone responded with 'Yes, ma'am!'. Everyone started to make their way to titans that were huge, and fast.. You were too busy that you didn't notice someone calling for your help. As you were done killing the titan you finally snapped back to reality.

You quickly made your way flying towards the person that was calling for your help. You made it in time to save them but their arm was no longer there. You grabbed her by the waist and made your higher into the trees and left her there screaming in pain. "Nova!." you heard someone scream, it was Randall. You whistled to get his attention once he looked at you, you pointed up towards the top of a tree to signal him where she was.

Nova was the girl you had just saved, and Randall was her older brother. They were intelligent people. They were the ones who came up with a better version of ODM gear that everyone was just now testing and practicing on which worked out well.-- It helped everyone a lot because of how much time you stay up without wasting so much fuel.

Everyone was now done killing the titans, most of them badly injured. The rest were barely even touched. By the looks of it people were already here. "Captain." you said in a monotone voice. "I'd like for you to let me move forward with at least three more people. By the looks of it someone or even more people were here already. I want to make sure there isn't anyone else that could've seen us." You said to her. She looked at you and nodded in response.

Honestly, you were quite surprised that she agreed, especially in such a calmed way. -- You took with you Kami, Eitan, and Adam. They were honestly pretty good at fighting as you were. As you all four made your way towards the 'exit' of the woods you all stopped at a certain tree. You told everyone to be quiet. Not so far away from the woods you could see what looked like a horse with a cart and at least two people on it.

You wanted to get closer but decided to not do it, at least not yet. Soon you regretted it, for some reason cart had been exploited. You all gasp at the scene that had just happened not so far away from the four of you. You looked around to make sure that there were no titans in sight. As you noticed that there wasn't any you broke the silence. "Make your way towards that explosion, look to see if you can find the bodies.  After that report back to Kenta!" You yelled. Everyone nodded in response to your statement.

You made your way there and saw the burning horse, which at least was already dead. "This one is breathing!" said Eitan. "Tsk, what did she tell you to do idiot." Kami said to him. Eitan took the body along with Adam helping him. You and Kami kept looking to find the other person. Once you did you were pretty disgusted. "Should we take it?.." Asked Kami in disgust. You thought about it and decided not to.

You both headed back to where all the titans had been killed. Kenta made your way towards you with a confused expression. "Weren't you supposed to kill him?!" she screamed at your face. "He's alive and injured from an explosion, who even knows if he's going to make it. Let it be, and let Commander Eita decide what she wants to with him." You said with a poker face looking at her dead in the eyes. "Time to head back everyone!." Kenta yelled ignoring your statement.

You took the males body and cleaned it a little with the water you had. He was bleeding badly which meant he could bleed to death. You decided to take off your top and shred it into pieces of a perfect size to wrap it around his cuts. Once you were done everyone was already a little far away from you. You carried the body on your back as you were reaching for your horse.

The way back to the huge island that you all lived in was quiet. Once you all got there everyone made their way to HQ. Except for those who needed to be taken to infirmary. You made your way towards Adam who wouldn't stop looking at your chest. You rolled your eyes and took the males body off of you. "Take him to the infirmary." You said to him. You made your way towards the showers to take one since everyone else was probably eating right now.

You were now drying your wet hair with a towel. You took a look at yourself in the mirror just to see your body fill with scars. You looked away and started brushing your hair.-- You were wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants which is something you find quite comfy. You decided to go check on the male that you brought. Once you got there he was still in his dirty clothes and your pieces of cloth that were his only bandages.

No one probably even bothered to check up on him since he was 'different'. You decided to take his clothes off and clean him up. You took a towel and soaked it in clean warm water as you lightly cleaned the blood off of him. As you were done Eita came in. "Y/n~~" She said in a very happy voice. "Yes, commander?" you said. "Oh come on just call me Eita. It's been years and I still have to tell you that. I might have to make it an order." She said fakely pouting. You hummed in response.

For the past two hours you and Eita were talking about the male and what had happened back there in the woods. She said that he could stay but when he was well, that's if he doesn't die then he needs to be questioned. You agreed to her statement and let the unconscious man rest. As you were heading to your room you called out Eita's name. "Eita." you said, she hummed in response as she turned around to face you. You lightly cupped her cheek and lightly pecked the other.

You made your way towards your room as you left Eita a blushing mess. You entered your room just scanning it around for no reason. You went towards the night stand in your room to grab a picture that was on it. The picture was of you and Eita, you were both wearing flower crowns that you both made as she was kissing your cheek. You had a poker face meanwhile she was smiling as she kissed you.

Honestly anyone, including you and Eita would  think that you both were dating or at least had feelings for each other but that wasn't the thing. You and Eita grew up with no love given to each other, that you both started to love each other, a little too much. It never went anywhere so you both just made fun of each other for it which you didn't mind.

You decided to go to sleep since tomorrow was probably going to be a long day, especially if that man wakes up. With that your eyelids started to feel heavy as you snooze off to sleep.
