Josh followed chase outside the school building and they stopped somewhere near a tree

Josh: so what do you wanna talk about

He said while crossing his arms and leaning on the tree. Chase then sighed before he said anything

Chase: can we please fix things between us??

Josh then smirked and said

Josh: why would I or we you hate me and I hate you so no

Chase: hear me out first would you?!

Josh: go on

Chase: can we pls stop this it's getting awkward and toxic and y/n is getting close to you and both of you is starting to become friends so if we stay like this then she would be awkward and people kept comparing us and voting who is better and can we go back to the old time when we were best friends or best buds for y/n

Josh: before I answer you tell me do you like y/n??

Chase: yea before but she said she likes someone else so I'm letting go of her for her special someone

Chase puts his head down cause he new it was Josh that y/n likes

Chase: so can we fix things now??

Josh: sure

They both smiled and hugged each other and they started laughing, they went inside the school building and did their old handshake and went to their friends Josh went with jaden and bryce while chase went to his squad, the squad looked at him in a confused look cause he was with Josh

Anthony: so..... What happened there??

Chase: y'all will understand soon

Y/n: sus but shore

They all laughed and continued eating their food and talking like what a normal friend groups do, after 5 minutes the bell rang which means it's time to go to class I went to class alone I was thinking of what happened yesterday at the beach and what Josh told me then I went back to reality and sighed then continued walking to class when I reached there I sat near the window and start listening to my playlist then teacher came

Teacher: so today we have a new studen-

The teacher was cut off by one of the students

Mina: is the new student a girl or a boy?

Teacher: it's a boy

The girls then started to put make up and lipstick and brushing their hair and looking at themselves in the mirror trying to look presetable as possible except for y/n, y/n just sighed and looked in the window with one ear with her earphone and the other doesn't so she can still hear what teacher is saying

Teacher: come in

???: hello everyone my name is Kio I hope we all can be friends and get well together

Y/n looked up with a shocked expression cause the name and the voice sounded familiar she was shocked to see him she was looking at him with an unbelievable expression and he noticed that someone was looking at him so he looked at the direction where he felt someone staring when he looked he also had a shock expression their eyes then meet and was weird y/n looked away from him avoiding eye contacts.

Teacher: kio go seat beside nancy, nancy pls raise your hands

Nancy then raised her hands and kio sat beside her

Teacher: now let's start our class

~kio's POV~

I sat down beside nancy and looked at y/n stuff can't believe he will be attending the same school from now on I was deep on my thoughts then someone snapped  me out of my thoughts

Nancy: hey, kio right??

Kio: H-hi, uh y-yea

Nancy: wanna be friends??

Kio: yea sure

Nancy: can I have your number so you know we can text each other

Kio and Nancy then switched phone numbers and focused in class

~end of kio's POV~

Y/n can't focus in class cause she can't believe her ex is here and the same school as her and that her ex is at the same class as hers  she was very deep in her thoughts but then snapped out of it then continued listening to her teacher and to the lecture

~end of school~

Y/n went to her locker to keep some her books in her locker and to get some of her homework and stuff after she finish she locked her locker and walk to the gate to wait for the rest while you were deep in your thoughts, you were so deep in your thought to the point you did not notice someone was trying to get your attention when you finally came to your senses you were shocked on who it was

???: hey y/n, how are you
