Everyone has their own thoughts and emotions. Well, mine? Mine are a different story. By the age of 10, I was emotionless and became what most people would call, numb. I was glad, mental pain hurt quadruple the amount physical pain did. That will be explained soon enough.
Age: 8
"Worthless brat. You were nothing but a mistake. We would've never agreed to a quirk marriage had we known both brats would be worthless. We got a kid with both quirks, but it's a girl. What am I supposed to do with a weak little girl?"
Knives. Every word felt like knives. Quirk marriage. Worthless. Weak little girl. It stung, more than I'd like to admit. There was one small detail they didn't know though.
I had more than two quirks. Hundreds, maybe even thousands more. Using only two quirks was getting on my nerves, having all of those other quirks means I have more energy. The more energy I store, the more hyper I get. Which then leads to training. Training for hours, even days without a break. 'Maybe I could store the energy into weights. Maybe into a jacket to weigh it down a little bit? I wonder if you can actually exert your energy into objects..'
"Hey, brat, are you even listening?" I didn't realize I had spaced out, and now I have to pay the price. 'Oops.' One hit after another. Being put up in chains wasn't helping.
-Hours Later-
'Tch. That really hurts.' I was currently walking towards my room, which took an unnecessarily long time. 'Why is this house so big anyways? They're not even top 10 heroes. Tch. Heroes my ass. They can't even raise a child properly.'
As I was walking down the long corridor, a door opens and I get tugged inside quickly. I didn't bother checking who it was, I just quickly Judo threw whoever just grabbed me. Looking down, I realize it wasn't an intruder that I flipped, but my brother, Ashi.
"Shit, sorry!" He groans and looks up at me. "You know, for a four year old you're insanely strong. Also stop cussing so much, no one wants to hear an eight year old saying 'shit.'" I sigh. "Training. I swear, they give me more training every day." He looks at me in pity, and sighs. "I have a plan to get out of here. First step, pack your stuff. Second, come back into this room at 12 AM, after the maids do their rounds to make sure we're asleep. Third, we book it out the window and hopefully find a place to stay from there." I nodded, soaking in every detail.
When I started packing, I realized just how little I really had. My parents had a whole mansion, I had few items of my own. The most expensive item in my closet was a shirt from a local thrift store. It was ¥1631.85, which is about $15 in USD.
Once I was completely packed, I hid the bag in my closet. 'It's 23:32 (11:32). I only have to wait 30 minutes.' I then went to 'sleep.'
After the maids did their rounds to make sure we were asleep, I slowly and silently walked to the room Ashi and I were in earlier today. Walking silently wasn't an issue for me, I was trained in stealth, combat, and quirk control. Well, some quirk control.
I open the door and find Ashi. Or rather, parts of Ashi. My eyes widen in horror, staring at the mangled body of what used to be Ashi. "No, no, no." My breathing quickens. "What have you done..?"
There was fire slowly spreading from my body, however I was too overtaken by my anger to see it. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" My eyes glow red. My hair grows orange streaks. "NO! NO! NO! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" My fathers' eyes widen.
My fathers' quirk was metal manipulation, my mothers' quirk was permeation. I have mastered metal manipulation, but I haven't mastered any others yet.
One eye stopped glowing red and instead glowed a vibrant purple. I could see again, only when I saw my father in the floor, dead, I stopped immediately. I wasn't yet calm, but the threat was neutralized. Using a water quirk, I quickly extinguish the flames. It wasn't quite controlled, but it worked.
'Oh, Ashi. I'm so sorry I couldn't help you.' I laugh. Then that laugh turns into loud sobs that resounded throughout the room. I see lights through the window, that I could easily tell were police lights. 'I can't run now, I hear footsteps down the hall.'
I just decide to sit down and wait. Running would be pointless. I got dressed into clothes that weren't burnt. Imagine what they all would say when they see an 8 year old girl with 2 corpses around her. That'll be one hell of a story to tell the police.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a monotone voice. "Hey, kid. What happened here?" I look up to see a man who looked to be 23. He had black, messy, mid-length hair and a little bit of stubble. He had yellow goggles that had slits. I quickly came to the conclusion that this was one of my favorite pro heroes, Eraserhead.
"Long story short, my brother and I had made a plan to escape here, our dad caught us, he killed my brother, I found them, got angry, my quirks went insane, and I killed him. Simple as that." He stared at me with a gobsmacked expression.
"Kid, what's your name?" My eyes widen a little bit. 'I just told him I killed someone and he wants my name? What a madlad.' I sigh. "Y/n." He smiled a little bit and placed his goggles on the top of his head. "You're pretty smart for a kid your age. I'll be right back." He pats my head and walks away. 'What the fuck just happened?'
-With Aizawa-
"I want to adopt her." The cop looked at me like I was crazy. It was understandable, after all she did just kill her own father. "Why? She's.. how do I put this? She looks weak and useless. I just don't understand how she could've killed a pro hero with no problem." I see I faint red glow behind him. I look behind him to see clearly. My eyes widen. "NO! Y/n calm down he didn't mean it."
She had her lips turned into a tight-lipped frown. Her eyes slowly started to fade back into they're normal purple and orange. "Hey kid, are your eyes natural?" She looked confused, so I took my phone out and opened my camera. She looked at it and her eyes widened. "What the-? No. They were never like this before today. I guess they changed after my quirk went out of control."
I was surprised. Her eyes chanced today? She looked up at me when she noticed my silence.
"It's weird, isn't it? How my eyes changed, I mean." I nodded, not quite knowing how to respond.
"Where's your mom?" I asked, realizing she wasn't present during the entirety of the scene.
"How should I know? She could be off somewhere in a ditch for all I care. If that's all you're going to ask me, I'm going to sleep." She walks off waving backwards. I chuckle. 'Kid, if I'm adopting you, you'll fit in nicely if you like to sleep as much as I do.'
