"Over here!"

"Heeee Hooo!"

- Number of demons lifted together wood and placed it on the construction

They were preparing for the Blood Moon Festival. The Demon King will hold a speech to officially announce the start. So everything needs to be set up perfectly. This festival is everyone's favourite part of the year.

"Good job folks!" - One of the demons said.

"That side is next!"

"Leave it to me." - A young demon replied.

His eyes looked as if they were glowing crimson red in the shade of his fedora. The young man proceeded to lift and carry what took 5 adults strength together. And he did it with ease as well. One would wonder how this young-looking demon possesses such strength.

Little did they know he was a vampire. Although his raw strength is impressive he is very much so lacking in skill and technique. There was nobody to teach him after all.

"Hah, that brat. Always trying to show off."

"You are right about that old man. But it would've been much harder without him. He's a good helping hand." - What would seem a middle-aged demon replied.

"Well can't argue about that. I'm glad I asked for his help." - The old demon said relieved.

"Though it's sure scary. A young man like him being so strong. He's bound to become a monster when he grows up haha!"

...

"Haauuh! And done with another one." - The very young demon all those men talked about said in relief.

Though it would seem he was not in the brightest mood.

"Damn it with these headaches! My head just keeps hurting like there's no tomorrow! Maybe I need a break?" - He thought.

"Old man! I'm taking a quick break! I need to rest a bit!" - Sebastian shouted.

"Alright Youngun! Don't take too long!" - Old demon shouted back.

Sebastian headed for a wooden bench just beneath the Devilberry tree. The bench was perfectly in the shade of the tree. Like a safe spot from the burning sun.

He sat on the bench and tried to relax by closing his eyes. After a moment that felt like an eternity his eyes opened. But to his surprise, he was no longer on the construction site. To be exact he saw nothing at all.

"Huh? What is this?! Where am I?!" - The young vampire said in shock.

He was engulfed in darkness with no end. Like a fish swimming in the deep, deep sea. One would wonder does such a place really exist.

"How did I get here?! I was just sitting at the bench!? - Sebastian panicked.

Suddenly a distant figured appeared. It was getting closer and closer. Like the blazing sun, it represented pure joy and warmth. Upon closer look, Sebastian realised just who that figure was. His thoughts filled with just a single word.

"Mother."

"Mother is that you?! Mother, I finally see you! You have no idea how happy I am!" - He shouted.

His eyes began to wet. He burst into tears and ran towards her. She was closer to his reach each moment.

She smiled at him. A priceless smile from an unreplaceable person. Sebastian felt as if his heart was going to burst. He would die for this moment to last forever.
