Maybe someday (kuroken)

Chapter 1- The Letter

*One rainy day, Kuroo found out that he will have to leave the town because his parents enrolled him in the best school in Japan. They decided that they will stay there until he graduates. Kenma still didn't find out about that because Kuroo thought that it will break him. Kuroo decided to tell him a day before he needs to go out of town. At this moment, Kenma was sitting on the couch in the living room. Kuroo, beside him, was practicing with the volleyball waiting for the right moment to tell him*

mm..Kenma? *Kuroo started talking with a kinda sad face* I have to tell you something important..

*Kenma looked at Kuroo* What is it?

*Kuroo looked down* Promise that you wont be sad after I tell you..

*Kenma put his switch down as he noticed something was wrong*Well.. it depends on what it is.. anyways what's bothering you?

*Kuroo cupped Kenmas face and started talking* Kenma.. I'll have to go out of town.. my parents found a better school and think that it's the best choice for me..

*Kenma slightly widened his eyes while he was looking at Kuroo*..you will be back..right?..

*Kuroo didn't respond to that*

*Kenma held his tears . He was still questioning Kuroo about it* Kuroo?..

*Kuroo hugged Kenma and rubbed his back* I'll come visit you sometime.. if I have time..

*Kenma's eyes start watering as a tear falls, Kuroo notices and wipes his tear away* kenken.. ill visit you someday I promise.. I don't want you to be sad..okay? We can call while I'm away..

*Kenma looks up at him and says as his voice trembles a little* a-alright..

* After a few hours,(at 7pm) Kuroo started packing up for his long trip tomorrow. He was sad that he will have to leave Kenma because he won't be able to see him that often. Kuroo got into comfortable clothes and decide to go sleep earlier since he has to wake up at 4am. Kenma was listening to music but noticed that Kuroo went to sleep.As he put his phone away, he crawled under the blanket and cuddled Kuroo.*

*Kuroo was still awake but was pretending that he was asleep. He wanted to cuddle Kenma before his trip.*

~in the morning (2:40am)~

*Kuroo woke up to his alarm, he slightly opened his eyes and looked down at his best friend. He kissed his forehead and gently got up as he was careful not to wake him up. He went to the bathroom and got ready, wrote a letter on a paper and put it on the nightstand, got his suitcases and called an uber.*

* After a while, Kuroo looked at Kenma and whispered* till the next time.. * he walked out of his room, then out of his house and went into the Uber and took off to the airport*

~after 2 hours~

*Kenma wakes up and yawns, looked around for Kuroo but sees a letter on the nightstand. He took the paper and started reading it*

Dear Kenma Kozume,
I want..you to be happy while I'm out of town .. okay? I would be sad to find out that you are sad too. I know it's not easy, but know that I'm always with you. I always will be! You are very important to me and a very good friend .. I will always remember you and I will always have you in my mind. Now that I've gone somewhere far away, I'll try to come visit you when there are holidays or something. Do you have my number? Don't forget to send me a message alright? Since I ran out of space to write here I will have to finish the letter.

*Kenma's eyes tear up again as he looked at the side of his bed and noticed that he forgot his hoodie. He grabbed the hoodie and hugs it as he slowly started to cry quietly*

*after Kuroo left, Kenma would feel abandoned and sad. He thought about Kuroo every day and looked through the photos and memories he had with him. Kenma would feel that it was impossible to live without him.*

*Sometimes he would cry, secretly so that his mother wouldn't find out, because he misses Kuroo. He often played video games to take his mind of it but it was hard for him.He sent him messages but he did not respond. Maybe he changed his phone number? Or did his phone break down? Or he was just ignoring him.*

* After all, Kuroo arrived in Tokyo and began his education at Asuka High School.He often thought about Kenma, but as time went on, he slowly forgot about him.On the other hand Kenma would think of him every day. 2 years pass by and Kuroo still didn't message Kenma. Kenma was a little worried but didn't think much of it. He just wanted to see him and hug him.*

*One day, Kenma's mother, told him that they are going to Tokyo because she found a better job. Kenma was surprised and got excited and happy that he will be able to see his best friend again.*
