Chapter 2-First day at school

-*Kenma was in front of the school, a large building with a lot of students,
since Kenma was withdrawn and could not start a simple conversation with others, he stood on the sidewalk for about 20 minutes. He was still happy to see Kuroo, but the problem was that the school had a lot of students and it was hard to get around in it. *

*After arriving in Tokyo, the first day at the new school was not easy. *

*Kenma walked through the hallways as he tried to find the math classroom. Math was the first subject on Mondays according to the schedule. He thought he would be terribly late for the first lesson, but a happy boy who was a little shorter than Kenma appeared in the hallway. That boy's name was Hinata. He ran merrily towards Kenma and hugged him *-

Kenma! How did you get here!?* instructed him in a joyful voice *

* Kenma didn't know how to answer to that so he told him the whole story *
.. wow! Does that mean you're new to school haaa? * Kenma nodded at that as he had a gentle smile on his face *
Unbelievable! * Hinata exclaims and smiles *let's go to the class now .. we don't have that much time .. * Hinata starts walking excitedly towards the Math classroom. Kenma followed him *

*Kenma saw his friend from elementary school that day, his name was Hinata.He had orange hair and slightly dilated brown eyes, a beautiful face for a young high school student. As they entered the classroom, Kenma headed to the back seat behind the other students. He sat down on the chair and pulled out his new books he had received before school began. Hinata sat in front of him.*

*The class began and the class sank into silence. When the bell rang loudly at the end of the first class, all the students hurriedly got up and left the classroom, so did Kenma.*

~Lunch time~

*Kenma headed to the cafeteria and sat in the corner, next to him Hinata did the same. They talked about different things until at one point, Kenma spotted Kuroo and his eyes widened. It was a resolute feeling to see your best friend after a long time, but Kuroo had his arms resting around some girl's waist. The girl had dyed gray and long hair. She was also quite tall. She wore a white shirt and a mini-skirt.*

*"Who could it be?" he wondered to himself. He wanted to get close and greet him, but he realized that he was having a good time and enjoying himself with her. He was getting negative thoughts like- "Is that the reason he ignored me ?, Did he find someone better than me, who he really loves? Did I do something?" all these questions wandered his thoughts as he stared into space, at the same time Hinata would talk about how he played volleyball through the holidays.*

Kenma? * Hinata pats him lightly on the shoulder *Are you okay?

*Kenma gulps and looks at Hinata* Who is that girl?

*Hinata looked at the girl and smiled a little* Aha! She is the sister of Lev Haiba. Her name is Alisa Haiba. She is popular in our school! All the guys asked her if she wanted to go out with them, but lately she's only been dating this guy. The one over there!

*Dating? Those words hit Kenma hard.Who thought Kuroo had a girlfriend? Kenma thought that that was the reason Kuroo had "neglected" him for the last two years.*

O-oh..okay.. *Kenma looked at the floor as his memories with Kuroo returned on his mind. "My childhood friend, Kuroo Tetsuro, ignored me for 2 years...? Just because he got a girlfriend?..Eh.." Kenma thought and got up as he headed to the bathroom. Kuroo looked in that direction and thought he saw Kenma, but he thought that it was someone else.*

*Hinata worried about Kenma as he realized what Kenma had told him before math class. Hinata ran in the direction Kenma went*

Kenma wait!! *he shouted a little*

*Kuroo looked at Hinata and was sure he heard Kenma's name. He gently and politely moved his hands of Alisa's waist and ran to that direction too.*

*Kenma entered the bathroom stall and locked himself. He kept thinking and asking himself if he had done anything wrong that Kuroo had ignored him for it. Kenma concluded that it was a "problem about him" and that no one wanted him as a friend because he was constantly playing video games. After a few moments, Hinata enters the bathroom looking for Kenma*

Kenma!! Where are you!? Are you hiding??..Im sorry.. I didn't know because i wouldn't tell you.. please come out..

*While Hinata was trying to convince him to come out of the bathroom, Kuroo walks in*

Hinata? Did something happen? *Kenma widens his eyes as he hides in the bathroom stall*

*Hinata looks behind him and looks up at him* K-Kuroo-san.. nothing happened!.. I uh.. i'm just waiting for a free stall! *he smiles awkwardly*

Come on.. I heard you looking for Kenma.. where is he? I want to see him *Kuroo asked him in a gentle voice*

Nowhere!..t-that is.. in his hometown!.. If you w-want to see him go visit him at least..would you..? He will never be in Tokyo.. he t-told me that a long t-time ago.. * he stuttered*

*kuroo looked at hinata having one of his eyebrows raised* is that so?..*after he saw hinata having a nervous smile on his face, he knew that he was clearly lying to him. he frowned and looked at the stall that was in front of them, kuroo assuming that there is where kenma was at the moment. he approached the stall and gently placed his hand on the door* kenma?.. *kuroo said in a gentle and calming voice* are you there?..
