Enemies and Kisses Part 2

Sasuke lent me a pair of shorts, and they hung loosely on my body. But I didnt care, they were pretty comfy. I had already called Neji, and he'd be here in probsbly a half hour. We both stayed quiet after what happened earlier. I felt embarressed that it was my fault we were this quiet. I looked over at Sasuke who sat on the opposite end of the couch. His face looked emotionless and unamused.

Great Hinata! You just made it worse!! Apologize idiot!

"Im sorry.." I mumbled. His eyes flickered over to me, catching mine in a intense stare. I couldnt tear myself away. His black eyes seemed sad and lonely.

"Im the one who should be apologizing, I made you do that even though you dont even like me." He muttered back. My eyes widened slightly. I looked at him puzzled.

"Who said I didnt like you?"

"The way you rejected me when we kissed..."

I couldnt help the pink tinting my cheeks.

"I just...It didnt feel right, not that I didnt like it!"

Wow Hinata. Amazing excuse.

Sasuke gazed at me softly, contemplating if I was lying just to make him feel better. A swift knock was heard at the door. Oh thank god Neji!!! We both got up and padded over to the door. Neji seemed a bit surprised but simply gave a small smile.

"Thank you Uchiha for taking care of Hinata. I appreciate it." He spoke as he met Sasuke eye to eye with a hard stare. Sasuke smirked.

"My pleasure."

I slipped on my converse and Neji made his way to the car and got in. I turned slowly to look up at Sasukes apathetic face. I gave a small smile, and opened my arms for a hug which he gladly returned. He stood a good foot taller than me, so I stood on my tippy toes but he had his arms around me for support.

"Thank you Sasuke-kun.." I whisperd in his ear. I pulled away slightly and gave him a quick kiss. He blushed slightly as he let me go. I hurried after Neji and slipped into his car. My heart pounded slightly, and I could feel a warm blush tint my cheeks. Neji just scoffed and pulled out of the driveway.

I sat on my comfy black leather couch, TenTen and Temari bombarding me with questions.

"You made out with Sasuke?! The Sasuke Uchiha?!?!" Temari shrieked. I sweatdropped as she started to anime cry. TenTen on the otherhand, was smirking like a pervert.

"Did it get all hot and sweaty?! Did he makeout with you to high heaven?!?!" Once again, I sweatdropped as TenTen started getting a nosebleed.

"Guys, it wasnt like that!!"

Sasukes POV:

I casually sat on the barstool in the kitchen, taking a sip of mountain dew. Naruto and Kiba sat on the couch and stared at me shocked.

"You made out with Hinata?! Why didnt you let me join some of the action?!?!" Kiba asked, a pervy grin on his face. I glared at him.

"Wait, so you guys are dating now?" Naruto asked. I let out a sigh.

"No, she rejected me.."

"Dude, how?" I took another sip.

"I kissed her..then she broke away and started crying." They both looked at me confused.

"You kissed her, but you didnt ask her?!" Kiba said. I nodded.

"Dude, it doesnt work like that. You gotta ask her out first!!" Naruto chuckled. I shrugged, to angry to do anything about it.
