With a huge frown on her face, Dahyun got out of her car clutching her purse, wearing just yellow jogger pants, white converse, a white oversized shirt, makeup-less as her blonde hair was tied into a messy bun, she went towards the entrance of the Strawberry farm.
Unfortunately, at least for her, her mother suddenly had this abrupt decision of wanting to cook a strawberry jam out of nowhere, and of course, mothers being mothers, they were good at compelling their kids just to follow what they wanted them to do, and so though busy with her piano lessons online, she had to stop and run this certain errand even how many times she had bribed her mother of just ordering a whole box of jams online but she still insisted resulting in her being at where she currently was.
The scent of strawberry jams being made had welcomed her, and so as the children running around with pink ice cream in their hands, or adults already eating the strawberries they manually picked on the farm. Yes, she's on a strawberry farm instead of just buying on the grocery store because her mom was picky, so though she wanted to trick her mother by just telling her that she bought it on the farm but was actually in the grocery, her mom knows what's the difference of freshly picked and the strawberries ready on the grocery so she had really no other choice.
The farm was at the back, and the front was the place where people cooked their strawberries into a jam, ice cream, or packed the strawberries they harvested on the tables and chairs available outside.
She went inside the small house which seemed to be where she had to pay first, she was greeted by a short line. The small house was just a simple house with a strawberry design on the wall, it also looked like a store with strawberry design souvenirs, there was also a door behind which where the people were lead to the farm.
"Hi, here for leisure?" The woman asked, smiling at her showing her perfect set of white teeth. Her hair was jet and above the shoulder, bangs were curtaining her forehead with her shirt pink and a barbie doll designed.
She shook her head, "No, uh, just here to pick fresh strawberries. How much?"
"How many packs?"
"Ten, perhaps?"
"That would be twenty-three thousand two hundred forty-six won." She answered, smiling at her.
Dahyun took out her money and paid for the cost, "If you don't mind me asking, what should I picked?"
The woman gave her scissors and the basket after she paid, "Actually, I don't know too,"
Dahyun furrowed her brow and tilted her head, isn't she working at a strawberry farm? How come she didn't know?
"Don't judge me, my friends just dragged me here. Anyway, there is staff around at the back, you can ask anyone for help. Enjoy, cutie girl." She said and winked, pointing to the door where the farm was.
"Uh, thanks." She awkwardly replied, weirded out by the sudden flirting.
When she was already out, she was amazed by the organized strawberry farm with a lot of berries already ready to be picked out, there were also other people crouching and harvesting their due number of berries.
She looked at her phone when it rang, it was her mom. She walked towards the farm while she answered.
"Dahyun-ah, hurry!"
"Mom, if you want to make strawberry jams quickly, you should've just let me buy it in the grocery, I should be probably going back now. I just arrived here for goodness' sake!" She answered, frowning profusely as she put down the basket and checked the strawberry, "I don't even know what to pick here."
