Dahyun was sitting alone on the green grass, her eyes are puffy, the nose is red, lips are quivering, hearts are breaking, and tears are falling freely on her cheeks. It was a Kim Dahyun that no one wants to see, a Kim Dahyun that is so vulnerable and weak, the complete opposite of the Kim Dahyun everyone knows with an energetic and positive aura.

She was sitting in front of the grave of her grandmother, the grandmother whom she loves so much, who cares for her a lot, who never turns her back on her when everyone did, her greatest support has fallen, one of two reasons why she was still living was gone and left her. She's so broken, she's pouring all of her heart through her tears, she was hoping it would take away the pain of losing someone, she was hoping that it will be possible.

She scoffed when she heard thunderclaps, she looks up at the sky to see the dark clouds forming above her.

She smiled bitterly, "Even the bright sky has its dark times too." she said to herself.

She stayed like that for a while until it rains, big drops of rain started pouring down the skies. When you cannot bear the weight of the dark anymore, let it just pour out of your system.

Dahyun was ready to soak herself wet from the rain as a sign of her mourning when a shadow appeared beside her, she suddenly stops feeling the droplets of rain on her body, as the familiar calming scent invaded her nose.

"There's no way I'll let you catch a cold." A girl spoke from behind, she's holding an umbrella for the two of them as she places a jacket over Dahyun's small body.

"Chaeyoung... I told you to go." Dahyun said, looking up to see the one and only person who keeps holding her line of support that have her keep going.

"I did. The parking was far enough to consider that I left." She said nonchalantly, "I was waiting for you to come when the thunderclaps but you didn't so I decided to just fetch you when it rains."

Dahyun stared at her girlfriend, she was just standing cooly beside her while holding the umbrella. Her girlfriend who was with her from an early age, also the best friend who got her back every time, the kind of girlfriend who laughs at her antics, the girlfriend who loves her unconditionally. Son Chaeyoung.

"How am I supposed to live now, Chaeyoung?" Dahyun asks, the heaviness in her heart came back as her eyes started streaming down her cheeks again.

Chaeyoung's heart breaks at the sight, the source of her energy was slowly losing its fragrance, her battery is getting low, and she couldn't bear seeing her like that. She crouches down in front of Dahyun and wipes her tears, she holds her hand as she brings it to her lips and kissed it.

"I'm here, Dub. We'll get through this sadness together, I won't leave you. We'll overcome this phase of life," She intertwined their hands, "Hand in hand."

Dahyun became silent. She remembers all the time Chaeyoung was by her side at all points of her life. She shared the same sentiments as her, when she's happy, Chaeyoung is happier. When she's sad, Chaeyoung is sadder. Chaeyoung is her home, and she couldn't be more thankful for that.

"I don't know where to start, Chae. I want to end it here, too. I want to foll--" Dahyun got cut off when Chaeyoung throws the umbrella harshly and let the strong winds and big raindrops soak them both.

She met the blazing gaze of Chaeyoung, her brows were knitted and she's gritting her teeth. It's her second time seeing Chaeyoung this mad, the first was when Dahyun came in her house beaten by her parents that she almost beat everyone going her way to the hospital with Dahyun in her arms.

"No one will follow grandma, Dahyun! Nothing will end today or sooner, you'll stay here, with me. Please, stay with me." Chaeyoung started crying, her hands were on Dahyun's shoulder while kneeling in front of her.

Dahyun felt guilty. How could she make this little soft being cry? How could she, after all, that she has done for her, think of leaving her alone? How could she say all of those to Chaeyoung?

"I'm sorry... No one will leave. I didn't mean it. Stop crying, Chae." She pulled Chaeyoung close and embrace her. She rubs her back and pulled her apart to wipe her tears.

"P-promise me you won't, Dub." She insists with her pinky asking for a promise and assurance.

She gave her a nod and interlock their pinky fingers. "Promise."

Chaeyoung smiled widely. Dahyun couldn't help but stare at the beauty in front of her. Her cute eyes that seem to have to bear the whole universe in it, her cute perfect nose especially when she scrunches it, her beautiful full red lips, her tiger teeth, and of course, the mole under her lips that adds to her cuteness. How could someone be pretty and cute at the same time? No one has done it like Chaeyoung.

"Can you give me now your sunshine smile that I long to see for a week?" Chaeyoung asks, stretching Dahyun's cheeks to form into a smile.

Dahyun slaps it away and frowns from how tight she pinched it. "You could have asked nicely, Chaeng. It hurts." She complained, massaging her now red cheeks.

Chaeyoung laughed and leans forwards to place a kiss on it to at least lessen the pain but Dahyun turns her head that's why it landed on her lips.

The two have their eyes wide open as their hearts hammers loudly at the same time. The kiss lasted for five seconds and they immediately separate with a dumbfounded expression.

"Y-you! Really? In front of grandma?" Dahyun asked in disbelief, her cheeks were both red, not from the pinch earlier but from the kiss Chaeyoung gave her.

Chaeyoung chuckles, she turns to the grave and bowed to the ground, "I'm sorry grandma, you know who's a fault it was." She apologized, giggling when Dahyun hit her arm lightly.

"Should we go now? I don't really want us to catch a cold." Chaeyoung suggested when they heard another roar of thunder.

They both stand as Chaeyoung picked the umbrella up and closed it. There's no use in it anymore, they are both soaked by the rain and it will just be a miracle if they don't both get sick. Dahyun reached Chaeyoung's hand and intertwined it to hers before they started walking.

"I'm glad I have you, Chaeyoung. I don't know what my life could have been without you." Dahyun told her, leaning her head on Chaeyoung's shoulder as they stride on the grassy ground of the cemetery.

"I would do everything for you. You're my one and only treasure and you deserve the best, you're more important than anyone else." Chaeyoung replied, kissing Dahyun's hand multiple times that it tickles Dahyun.

Chaeyoung didn't waste any second to look at Dahyun's smiling face. She misses that smile, she mourns a lot that if she wasn't crying, she was emotionless. So she really missed her bright face that lights up even her future.

"Is that how you missed my smile? You're so eager." Dahyun joked, "You know if you asked me to smile, I'll smile." She added.

"I know, but I don't want a forced smile. I want your usual sunshine smile that makes me smile even wider." Chaeyoung admitted, still staring at Dahyun's face.

Dahyun's heart flutters, Chaeyoung never fails to make her heart beats abnormally. "Thank you, Chae. For everything. From my weakest to happiest, you're there. From my darkest to lightest, you stayed. For loving me and making me feel special, thank you, Chaeyoung."

If the skies also have their dark times, and it let them pour through the rain, it won't stay too long, because the sky has its source of light that will keep it shining, and in Dahyun's life, she has Chaeyoung, her sun.

Chaeyoung giggles, "You're cheesy." She jokes which gains a smack from Dahyun, "But you know the reason why I'm doing this, Dahyun."

They both stop when Chaeyoung held both Dahyun's hands. "I'll always love you, Dahyun. Always."
