"Sohyun, look at me." He turns you around and lifts up your head.
Tears were rolling down your face. Embarrassed, you cover your face with your arm.
"What happened?" He asked, concerned.
"Nothing. I'm fine. Please just leave me alone." You weren't in the mood to argue or talk.
Suddenly, you felt someone lift you up. "I'm going to take you to the nurses office, we can talk there."
You couldn't resist, you were too tired to do anything back. You just nodded and he took you to the nurses office.
As soon as you two arrived he put you down and sat next to you.
"Now, tell me what's wrong." He lifted up your head again. His eyes looking at your puffy red eyes.
"Jaehyun," you started. "What do I do? I can't live like this anymore." Tears started again. You weren't sure what to say to him.
He pulled you close. "I know times are tough but know that I'll always be here for you. We've been coworkers for a while now and I consider you my friend."
You went silent to that. Unsure of what to say to this. You just nodded and he held you for a little longer.
A couple minutes passed and you felt better. Jaehyun had just gotten up to go get lunch for you two. You smiled at the thought of him calling you a friend. It was good to know that even though Yuna might've left, you had Jaehyun. You were really glad the person who caught you crying wasn't Jimin. That would've ended in a different ending compared to Jaehyun.
There was faint knock on nurses door. Confused on why Jaehyun didn't just come in, you called out.
"Come in!"
The door opened and...there stood Jimin.
"Sohyun?"
He was the last person you wanted to see. Sure it had already been a couple days but he was part of the reasons your emotions had been all over the place.
He walked towards you, "Are you alright?" He stopped in front of you.
"I'm fine." You said bluntly.
He put his hand against your forehead like that one day. You flinched at his touch and moved back a little.
"Did I startle you? My bad." He takes his hand away and steps back.
You nodded, unable to talk. You didn't even look up at him.
"Why aren't you talking? Did I do something wrong?" You could hear the concern in his voice.
"You didn't do anything wrong. I'm just not feeling good right now."
"I see. Do you need any medicine? I can go get some for you."
"I'm fine, thank you." You didn't wanna drag on this conversation on. You just wanted him gone and out of your sight.
Unsure of what to do, you looked up at him. He was looking at you. You immediately looked back down.
"How long are you planning to stay here for? Don't you have things to do?" You said rather harshly.
"I do. But your health is more concerning. How long have you been like this for? You had a fever just yesterday too."
"I've recovered from my fever, I'm fine."
"Then why are you in the nurse's office? Something must be up, right?"
You were unsure of how to answer. You couldn't say that Jaehyun had picked you up and took you here because you were crying.
Suddenly the door opened.
You and Jimin both looked at the sudden open door.
