Nicki Minaj?!?

Demi's POV

Do you know how it feels like to feel so alone in world full of people? Well that was me every single day until I met Nicki, Nick, and Kim. I met nick when I was 14 on the set of camp rock and we have been close since then. I met Nicki right after I got out of rehab when Phil, my manager, suggested i collaborated with her.

Flashback

"Demi? Have you ever wanted to add rap to your music?" Phil asked, while opening the door his office building.

"Yes I have actually. Why? Who are thinking of adding?" I asked smiling enormously.

The thought of me working with someone other then the Jonas Brothers excited me. Don't get me wrong i love them, but I need to spice my work up and explore other people.

"I was thinking Nicki Minaj," he said staring at my face while we walk to his office.

"Really?!? I love her work, but do you think she would want to work with a Disney star?" I asked with a worried expression on my face.

"Why not? She may be interested, " Phil said with a smirk.

"Whatever Phil, I know she has seen the news about me going into rehab," I said trying not to burst into tears thinking of what everyone must think of me.

"Well, you never know until you try, so I'm going to call her ," Phil said trying to sound positive.

"Okay," was all I could get out before Phil pushing me out the door to call Nicki.

Nicki's POV
Demi and I have been best friends for a while now. We really connected when I met her. We met when she called me to ask if I would collaborate with her for her next single. I almost didn't do it but I felt bad for her and everything she has went through. I'm glad I did though because that blossomed into really good friendship.

Flashback

Today's been so fucked up. Me and Rihanna were suppose to be recording "Fly" today, but shes pissed at me. So i'm sitting my ass at home watching Love & Hip-Hop in my footie pajamas. It was just getting good as I get a call. I have no idea who it is, but I feel like I should still answer it. I hit answer.

On The Phone

"Hello?"
"Umm.. hi. Its Demi."
"Whats Up?"
"I wanted to know if you would collab with me for my next single. Just to kind of get everyones mind off of me going to rehab." She sounded scared, like I was going to say no.
"Well... I have a lot going on at the moment, but I guess I can slide over quick to talk in person."
"Thanks so much, Nicki. It means a lot."

I hang up the phone and roll out of my bed. I wouldnt do this for her if I didnt feel sorry for her. But I do feel sorry for her. The whole world is judging her for what she's been through. I've been through stuff like that, but not as bad. I dont know if I can change anything, but it's worth a shot. I throw on some baggy sweatpants, a sweatshirt and threw my hair up in a bun and was on my way to Demi's.
