Just Us Two Forever

Chapter 3

Update!!!!!!! :D yah!!!! Ok so it's late and I have tons of quizzes tomorrow but here it is even tho nobody's really reading it :) enjoy!

Lux arrived at home with Harry and they both peeled off their layers of clothing fit for the cold air. He took the bear out of the box for her and Lou (her mom) came bustling out of a room with a hairspray and clips in one hand. She reached over to lux and asked her about how her day went, until lux started squirming. She struggled to get out of the tight grasp Lou had on her and both Harry and Lou wondered why. Harry tried offering his comfort to console her and to calm down her thrashing. He carefully took her from Lou and carefully paced around the room. He quietly hummed in her ears as she gradually started drifting off. When Harry could hear the soft purr of her steady heart beat, he gently placed her in her cot. She stirred a bit and let out a familiar whisper of "Ha-y" and a delayed and slurred version of "stay" due to her sleepy state. She was dreaming of the day they had, but he left with Allison this time forgetting lux behind. Lux felt like she was being left behind, while the new girl stole Harry's heart. She suddenly felt a jolt of fear course through her tiny body and started writhing in slight pain from the fright. Harry saw this and gently caressed her back while singing to her, as she lay in his arms. She felt the relief wash over her as she realized that she could be there too. She assumed that she would still have Harry. At this point, lux isn't an ordinary two year old. She learned quick, ready to fend for herself because of the harsh conditions she's been in. So she has a vast range of knowledge prepared of situations. As she started to slowly awaken, she asked Harry, "Hawwy stay lux?" He took a minute to decipher the phrase and then gently told her "Hawwy will always stay with lux because Lux is Hawwy's special angel. It will always be us two, just us, forever"
