Finally.

After hours of being trapped in place under the sticky wet bedsheets, came freedom. I awaited groggily for the moment the sun began to seep through the cracks of the blinds; my eyes closed when the light was too bright to bear. And as the sun warmed my skin, I regained my mobility. That damn demon! I couldn't believe I stayed in this static position for hours, legs bent into my chest, knees in the direction of my ears. And it wasn't until now that the stiffness of my body started to settle into my muscles.

I got hit with the pain all at once.

"SHITT!"

"Ugh.. Bib?" I groaned in pain, leaning stretching my entire body, which took a whole 10 minutes before finding my strength to stand up. "Oh right," Remembering I had nothing on below the waist, I tried searching for my underwear but remembered vaguely that they were stolen... once again.

"Dear God..." If he kept this up I'll need to buy new undies.

Grabbing the only decent robe that wasn't mesh or see-through, I began to peel back the soiled bedsheets with last night's remnants on them, tossing them into the hamper for washing.

I looked shitty as I stare back at my reflection in the bathroom mirror. The back of my head was flat and matted, making my fro push out. My eyes were bloodshot red and puffy from lack of sleep and I was pissed. I deserved a great ass slumber after getting my pussy ate like that! I should be hibernating, storing up my energy after my life source was sucked from my body through my God-damn clit!

"Bib! Gamah!"

Despite the crazy shit that happened last night with Salem, he mentioned some things about Gamah that piqued my interest. Obviously, he knew something I didn't. Whether I would reconcile this, or believe him or not is up for debate. For now, I would have to get my answers from the source itself.

Gamah.

I looked all over the apartment, she and Bib were nowhere to be found.

I started to panic, thinking Salem had done something to them both, but he.... I don't think he would? Passing the fridge, I noticed a note, no doubt left by Salem. "What did you leave now Salem?" Picking up the note, I was shocked to find that it was Gamah's handwriting.

'I've gone out of town to handle an emergency with a few friends of mine. I'll be back in a few days and I'll come down to your place when I get back to finish our talk. I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye, it isn't like me. Take care and I'll be back before you know it. Love you.'

With that, I pulled out my phone and called her, but it went straight to voicemail...

This was nothing like my grandmother, and I was beginning to become very concerned. I wasn't sure I actually knew who she was anymore. I know I'm being quick to assume, but something in my gut told me so. I've never had a conversation with her about her life or even mine. And this idea of her that I've already had in my head, feels like it's starting to fade away very quickly.

This older woman who rarely left the house, had a cane and was hard of hearing, was driving by herself, going places I don't know of... smoking weed and had access to edibles... What the hell was going on?!

I'd give her two days, if she isn't back by then, I'm taking matters into my own hands and finding her.

At the sound of a strangled squeal just below me, I look down and see my foot crushing one of Bib's squeaky toys.

"Bib? Honey?" While calling out her name, I squeeze her favorite toy. She usually comes running at the first one. Coming from the closet was a muffled noise like something was moving. At this point, I shouldn't be afraid, but I've already been attacked by Salem in broad daylight, by creepy demons. Even so, I didn't know what the shit he had in store for me...
