Chapter 5

Karsyn's POV

"Thank you for letting me stay here Meg" I told her, as we were unpacking.

"No problem sweetie, if you hadn't have come now, I probably would of just taken you away myself" she said.

"I haven't actually felt loved in years, but before I even entered your house, I remembered what it felt like." I said tearing up a bit.

'Aww baby girl there's no need to cry, here how about we dry up your eyes and then go downstairs to meet my son and my daughter." Meg said while wiping my eyes.

"You came at the perfect time, my son is taking a two month break off of his tour with friends. So you will get to meet him." Meg said as we were going down the stairs, towards the family room.

Sitting on the couch was a girl who looked about my age, and a boy about 16, but I couldn't see his face because his back was towards us. The girl was about my height, and had shoulder length brown hair, and bright green eyes. The guy was tall and had brown hair.

"Ally, Shawn I have someone for you to meet." Meg said.

Wait, what, Shawn?!?

They both turned around and of course it had to be Shawn, frick'n, Mendes.

"Karsyn" Shawn said shocked.

"Do you know him?" Meg asked me.

"No?" I lied.

She gave me a concerning look, but then nodded her head meaning she understood.

"Well Shawn, Ally this is Karsyn, she will be staying with us for a while, and Ally good news for you she's your age." Meg said.

"Yes finally" Ally said, then she ran up to me grabbed my wrist ran and then ran with me up the staris yelling "She will be mine!"

We both started laughing so hard, we both didn't even realize that we were on the ground outside her room.

We both got up, and went inside. We played 20 questions, and we both got to know eachother.

We were about to put in a movie, when Shawn walked in.

"Um, could I talk to you Karsyn?" he asked.

"Yeah, but don't make it to long we're gonna put in a movie." I told him.

We both walked out of the room, and into a room next door which was clearly his.

"Hey" he said.

"Seriously you pulled me out to say 'hey'?" I said giggling.

"No, I just needed a way to start the conversation" he said starting to laugh.

"Keep working in that" I told him, then we both started to laugh.

"Well I just wanted to say that after the incident at the park, I promised myself to save you from them, and now with the help of my family you're probably never gonna have to go back there. You're gonna be my new little sister and I will care for you every step of the way" he said, and after he said that I pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you" I whispered to him, and then I started to cry.

Not a sad cry, but a happy cry, because this cry is the one cry I will always remember. This cry is for the time I finally got an older brother.
