Ch.2

After I got ready, me and and Caroline went to the school were we saw everyone outside the building and fire trucks around it. Tyler walks up to us. "What happened!" Caroline yelled.
"The gym's flooded, the dance is cancelled" Tyler told her. I scoffed knowing it will not go down with Caroline very well.
"Excuse me!" Caroline yelled again, I was right. "Well what are we supposed to do now!" She carried on. I decided not to say anything because I know how Caroline would get. She then calls Elena telling her that the dance was moved to Tyler's house. I know right it is a bit weird but anything for shutting up Caroline for the next few months.

When me and Caroline got to Tyler's, there was a lot of people there that we didn't even know and there was a hole concert outside. It was not a typical homecoming dance. "How did he plan a better party than me so fast?" Caroline asked in astonishment. "Is that a band outside?" She went on. "Who are all these people?" I asked.
"This is weird, where is Tyler" she said while leaving me by myself.

"Hello love," a thick British accent said behind me. I knew exactly who it was. "Klaus, I was wondering were you where," I told him while turning around to face him. He then offers his hand to me so we can walk together, we then walk off. "May I ask you a question," he asks me. "Sure," I told him. "Why did a pretty girl like you get with Tyler Lockwood?" I was wondering how to answer this because Tyler was 1 year younger than me at the time and also now that I think about he is extremely ugly. "Um... I don't really know why, it seemed like the perfect thing at the time, he was captain of the football team and I was captain of the cheer team, sooo yeah." " I need a drink," I told him while unlinking our arms. I walked off to go get a drink and tell Caroline that klaus ordered Tyler to do this party. We then both walked over to Matt and Elena.
"Hey klaus is here," I told them.
"Apparently our sired hybrid friend, Tyler, thought it would be okay to let his master throw a party," Caroline said in one big breath. they both didn't look at all surprised.
"I expected more surprise," I scoffed at them.
"I've learned not to be surprised by anything klaus does," Elena said, she sounded sketchy.
"I going to go find bonnie," she finished and left. "And I am going to get wasted tonight," I told them while walking to the bar.
"Can I get a bourbon please," I ask the bartender.

About thirty minutes later I probably downed 60 shots and had 6 bourbons. "Ashley you need to get out of here," somebody said behind me.
"ExCUse mE?" I asked when I turned around to face him. it was Tyler. "Klaus, he his planning something, you need to get out of here" He tells me. "No thank you I think I'll stay," I told him stubbornly. All of a sudden he injected wolf bane into me causing me to faint.

I woke up next to Caroline when Tyler walked into the room. I huffed at what he did to me and I am guessing he did the same thing to care. "Are you two okay?" He asked us.
"What do you god damm think," I yelled at him while I got up. "I'm sorry I stabbed you two, it was the only thing I could think of to get you out of there," he said to us.
"Oh yeah? Not a 'hey Caroline and Ashley I am worried about what might happen this evening, so maybe you should just go home and watch dancing with the stars," Caroline angrily told him. "Well I tried with Ashley but she was drunk and she was not listening to me but if you knew that all your friends were going to join together to try and take down klaus would you have left?" He asked her. " no" she replied.
"So there you go. I saved you from your own stubbornness." He said in a baby voice. "This isn't funny, Tyler. How am I supposed to let your daughter around you when you're sired to him?" I yelled at him. "I need you to understand, Ashley and Caroline."
"Understand what? That your one of the bad guys now?," she asked him.
"Understand that this is who I am!" He pleaded to us. He looked at me, "there's nothing I can do about. Klaus can't be killed. I can't be fixed. Understand that I am okay with it." He looked back at Caroline. "But how are you okay with it?" She said while her voice was breaking. " because it's better." He looked back at me. " I don't have to turn, Ashley, not unless I want to," he looked back to Caroline, " I never have to go through that pain again." He said hoping that I  would understand him. Caroline was almost in tears . "If being sired to klaus is the price I have to pay... so be it."he finished.
"But... you don't have any true control over yourself"- Caroline started but Tyler interrupted, "I never did before. The full moon controlled me." He grabbed Caroline's hand and looked back at me who just looked to the floor. "After everything we've been through, you have always been there, including you ash, don't turn your back on me now." He pleaded. Caroline slowly shaked her head while with tears in her eyes, I just stood there silently.
"Tyler.." she started, "I just"- "right got it" he said as ran out. I hugged my sister as she silently cried. this birthday was great.
