this book started when i was 12 and i am now 17
you met when you were about 5 years old in primary school. you had been sitting with one of your parents friends kids talking about some disney movie when you saw this girl sitting by herself playing with the most incredible barbie doll you had ever seen so of course you had to go over and steal it from her with your evil, grubby child hands. she started crying so the teacher made you give it back, apologise and give her a hug. the next day you were bestfriends and the rest is history.
how long it takes her to ask you out:
well she didn't ask you out until you were 14 so technically 9 years but she started liking you when you were like 13 and something and she asked you out 8 months later when you were just chilling at your locker.
jealousy scale:
her: 6/10
she isn't jealous in an annoying way but she wont tolerate people flirting with you or talking to you or looking at you in a certain way. shes pretty trusting of everyone including you but that doesn't mean she wants people trying or wanting to get with you.
yours: 7/10
you have a lot of mutual guy friends with sarah and you always feel like they're trying to flirt with her and you get annoyed but you really just don't trust the guys and girls at your school bc a lot of then are just dumb teens but you don't mind her talking to other people if they're not trying to get with her.
who likes who:
who likes sarah? Jacob.
~jake and sarah have been really close for ages so its natural for you to get kinda jealous, he likes her but likes you as a friend as well and when he finds out you two are a thing he handles it well and moves on so that he can love you both as friends.
who likes you? Derek.
~derek thinks your hot and funny and sweet.
~when he finds out you're dating sarah he doesnt take it that well at first and makes some offensive comments out of anger but he quickly realises what he did and apologises like a hundred times to make it up to you both.
