The Nobody with feelings

Chapter six

Erin's P.O,V

I woke up at 11 cursing under my breath running late to see Demyx. I jumped out of bed and picked out a pair of jeans and a shirt rushing into the bathroom. When I finished getting ready it was 11:45 so I had to run out the door. I got on my skateboard and headed towards the school building. I started thinking then stopped before reaching the school. What if this was a prank? Who goes to school on the weekends?

The school was seen in the distance and I couldn't decide whether I should turn back now or keep going. Being a risk taker I went towards the school anyway I mean I didn't have any plans today so whats wrong with sitting in front of the school for a little bit?

Demyx P.O.V

Where was she? It was 4 minutes till 12 and she wasn't here. Maybe she found out who I really am? Who would want to hang around a nobody who is considered a coward in somebody's eyes?  While waiting I turned my head in time just to see her. I let out a sigh before she came over towards me since I didn't think she'd come.

I pulled off a grin wrapping my arm around her giving her a hug. "Hiya! Thought you wouldn't show up to see me!" I said in a cheerful voice looking down at her. "I could say the same thing to you!" I heard her sarcastic voice say. I ruffled her hair then moved away standing there awkwardly unsure how to respond. Her eyes shot up to mine waiting for for me to say something. It was hard to talk to her with a sassy attitude. I normally met girls and they were clueless or cute.

"So what made you want me to meet up with you?" Erin asked. "Well I figured the new girl better get a good glance of the area hm?" I smiled. Erin looked at me a bit strange. "Well the last time I did that I ended up leaving because of boys flirting with my friends". My eyes widened and I quickly took her hands. "Well this time it won't happen!" With that said I lightly tugged her off her skateboard and ran with her behind me.

Erin's P.O.V

Demyx took me to the mall. The same mall Xion and Namine took me in. I did see some girls stare at him, and some were not pretty looks. Probably because I was with him. He may have not known much about me, but he clearly paid attention enough to know what stores to take me in. We went into a record shop, a instrument store,and stores that weren't girly!

He wasn't that bad like Namine and Xion were saying. He was very nice and did know how to make a girl smile. When we arrived back to the school I grabbed my skateboard and we both went our separate ways....... Almost!

Since it was getting dark out Demyx wanted to be a 'gentleman' by walking me home. I argued saying he didn't have to but he didn't listen! He slipped his hand into mine smoothly and I had to admit his hand was pretty warm. His eyes wouldn't lay off me and it was as if he didn't want to stop staring down at me. I stopped walking at the top of my street and he did the same.

"I think this is far enough for you to walk me home" I smile looking up at him "Thanks for trying to be a friend of mine" He nods to my response slowly putting his hands in his pockets. He felt closer to me as if he took a step towards me and our faces met right in front of each others. With a panic I quickly said bye then ran the rest of the way home.
