It seemed like any other day the tide was in the sun was just about to rise, there was no one in the water so i though why not just go in by myself . Ive always been told how amazing it is to have the ocean to myself and well here was my opportunity. As I walked Down the beach my feet were sinking down into the sand , the sun was just about a semi circle sitting on the water. When the ocean was level with my waste thats when i started to paddle on my board. I caught some good waves in and was duck diving on the way back out , after being in the water for about 20 minutes or so thats when i felt really scared to be in the water on my own. I decided to let the feeling pass seeing as the sun was no longer sitting on the ocean, and the girls would be in the water soon i thought it would be good to enjoy the last moments out there. If i had known those moments would changed my life i would have got out straight away.
As i looked out and saw a big wave forming i started to paddle out fast to meet it. When the wave wast about three meters away from me i turned my board around, ready to ride thats when i saw the dark shadow that hiding in the wave. by the time i realised it was a shark it was too late. my board was pulled from underneath me and my leash snapped off , because i was so far out i was at the bottom and need to swim a bit up to the surface. As i looked around to see where the shark was my legs slowly pushed me up to the surface, however i never thought to look above me to see if the shark was swimming on the surface. When i did a breastroke arm pull thats when i bumped into something above me . It was that powerful that it pushed me down a little. My lungs began to hurt as my air that was inside me was running out, when i looked up i could see the light of the sun, shimmering on the surface. I kicked as fast as i could when i broke to the surface i felt relieved, i began so swim back to shore after seeing my board almost half way in. I was still quite far out so it was a bit of a swim back to the beach, for a moment i forgot about the shark that i had encountered , and was just focused on getting back the the beach. As i was swimming riding the waves in as far as they would take me i felt a bump in the leg, not sharp to me me bleed but strong to make me bruise. When i looked back i was this huge this huge dorsal fin coming at me, i froze for a moment before swimming for my life. I felt the bump again the fin was right behind me this time when i looked , but it wasn't biting me it was circling me and i couldn't escape. I began to skull on the surface trying to keep my head a float, however my legs where tiring and my arms felt like the were giving up as i began to sink into the water...
