Chapter 3 - The lie

I don't remember anything after that , when I woke up I was in the hospital with my mum and friends beside me. I looked down to see if any ligaments had been taken . " hi honey , you okay?" My mum was trying to talk to me holding back her tears. " What's happening , how am I here?" I was still confused I remember being in the water but never being on shore. Seren moved closer to me she had a few tears in her eyes, my mum left for two minutes to get a coffee. I tried to sit up but all my energy was gone. " I just don't get it" Seren was confused like me " Seren were not supposed to be asking her to much ,making her more confused, just rest Amy we will be here" Ellie was trying to keep something from me, but I needed to know why everyone was just so confused. " Girls we tell each other everything, I think I know what your confused about" I knew they must have been on about the shark, although it didn't make sense why they were confused. " What's do you mean , you can't know what were on about" Georgia had the look as us girls call it , she was worried. " Are you on about the shark?" I said with all my energy. " How do you know about that" seren was confused at how I knew I had encountered a shark, however I didn't know it had been know as an attack." You are so lucky getting attacked by a shark and not having one bit of blood on you". Ellie had a little giggle trying to avoid the subject that I could have died. " Attacked. What are you talking about I wasn't attacked, I just saw a shark and it's nose bumped my leg. How is that an attack?" I began to get annoyed because the shark never hurt me, it just seemed like it wanted to play. " Well you board tells a different story" seren picked up my board, and showed me the massive bite mark almost breaking the board in half. " The shark researches have predicted it to be an 18-foot great white" Georgia loved sharks , and was more exited than worried. "The important thing is that your alive and that's all that matters right now" . Seren was taking it very serious, I'm glad she did maybe I was wrong maybe the shark did attack me. I wanted to know the answer to that so bad. My mum came back in with sweets and snacks for the girls, and soup for me but I was too tired to eat or drink anything. I sank back into my pillow and tried to remember the event, but it was harder than it seemed.
