Resting my head on the door, I have my eyes closed as I felt my body going weaker every second. I was in the line between keep struggling and giving up until the sound keys woke me up.
My body jolted when someone was unlocking the door. Wait, what?
"Hello!" I shouted.
"H-hello? Is someone inside?" A feminine voice replied.
I gasped in bliss, "yes! Please help me o-out! Please!"
"O-okay, one second I'm unlocking the door."
Turns out it was the janitor of the sports centre, I quickly thanked her bowing several times and ran down the stairs. There's only one thing in mind, Jungkook.
I finally made it to the main hall, I pushed open the door and looked around, people, fans to be exact, screaming and surrounding a person in Taekwondo robe.
I averted my eyes to the person in front of me. He has his head down until he lifted his head and his eyes met mine. There, I read those eyes, they wrote pain and... disappointment.
"J-Jungkook," I let out breathlessly and ran into his arms.
I hugged him tightly, feeling safe from all the misfortunes that happened. I was terrified and you have no idea how glad I am to be in his arms.
Weird, he is not hugging me back, nor saying anything.
His hands are holding his equipment and a water bottle. I pulled away from the hug and met his eyes again. He looked at me coldly, his round eyes never felt so unfamiliar.
"Jungkook?" I called, but he remained expressionless.
A boy probably the same age as me walked towards us and cut me off. He was also in a Taekwondo uniform, oh wait, he was the person surrounded by fans just then.
Next to the boy is a man in his fifties of something. They smiled at Jungkook.
"It was a nice game, meaningful training for Joon Youngie. Our team is actually...impressed by your skills Mr Jeon. Maybe you would consider joining us?" The older man gave Jungkook a business card. He received it with a forced smile.
