Destined (Hayes Grier)

Chapter Two

Hey guys so its still the same day and all but I had really big idea for chapter one, two, and possibly three and knowing myself well enough, I have to do it now before I forget. So here's chapter 2.

*NASH'S POV*

I got super bored just walking and we were walking really slow.

"Anyone wanna race to that sign over there?" I asked. Everyone said no. Lazy bums, so I ran ahead. I heard them say dont run into any girls that'll try to steal me and keep me in their basement and stuff like that. I was looking back to see how far away I was from them and I stopped and was going to wait. Then I heard someone say "Lexi watch out!" And the next thing I knew, there was a girl lying on my stomach kind of like an X. But she wasn't kinda light. So she got up and didn't even look my way (she was probably too embarrassed) and kept apologizing. Then she looked my way and completely stopped what she was right in the middle of saying. She looked like she was scared and kind of in awe. So I started getting up when  I saw Matt and Taylor, that were at the front of the group,  coming up the hill. Then she looked back at me and I started talking to her nothing happened.

"So, who's your friend?" Matt asked me. I looked over and pointed to her and said "This, is Lexi and she is..." I looked over at her trying to guess an age. I would have guessed 13 but then I gave up and asked her age. "I'm 14". We all started talking then. After a while when everyone else got up the hill, we all talked for a while. I even caught her and Hayes zoned out stari g each other straight in the eye. Taylor noticed too, and we were right in the middle of asking her something. Taylor snapped his fingers, got her attention, then started talking again. She's fun, and you could obviously tell she was a big fan, but was a lot different t from the rest of them. She wasn't all over us and stuff like that.

   After a while her friends got bored and called her back over. She gave us all goodbye hugs and started walking back. I looked over at Hayes. He was watching her and it looked like the further she got away from us, he looked more upset. So Taylor and I decided to go over and tease him.

        *TAYLOR'S POV*

     Lexi was leaving to go back by her friends. It had been about a good 45 minutes or so. I wasn't starting to like her but you could say Lexi was cute in a childish kind of way. Nash nudged me and said we were going over by Hayes to tease. So as we did, Hayes kept looking more,  and more, upset. I realized he wanted to be near her. So I said. "I'll be right back guys" Nash smirked "okay" looking like he knew what I was doing. Then behind me I could hear Hayes saying "Wait, he's going over there? By her? No Taylor don't!" But I kept going. She want facing me so it was easier for what I was about to do. Her friends saw me but right as they did, I put my finger to my lips motioning not to say anything. They didn't, which helped but Lexi was starting to suspect something. Then I picked her up bridal style and put my right hand over her eyes, as she yelled "Ahh!"and started walking back to Nash and Hayes. It was fun watching her get scared and she was light too.

     When I got back to them I put her down and took my hand off her eyes. She was looking toward Hayes. "Oh uhh, hi" she was kinda stuttering. He looked down at his shoes, smiled and looked back up at her and said "Hey Lexi". Lexi turned around then to see who it was that picked her up.

"Taylor. That was you who pickes me up?" She asked.

"Yeah" I said.

"Wow," she looked at Nash then back at me"you have really bony arms." We all laughed.

"Wait, so why again did you pick me up?" She asked, getting back to what she seemed like she was getting back to a point. "Weeell" I said making 'well' sound long, "you started walking away, and Nash and I noticed Hayes looking more upset the farther you got, so we brought you back," she looked back at Hayes with an excited 'really?!' Look. Lexi and Hayes just started blushing at each other.

"So are you guys gunna give each other your numbers or what?" Nash asked, so they did. Then Lexi said she had to go cause her friends were bored... Again.
