Chapter 15

(Still Lexi's POV)

   I did it. Ran out to where they were that Richard guy was chasing Shawn. He was also catching up to him. "Hey!" I yelled. He stopped, looking over towards me "I was really the one that was dared to do it. That guy, yeah he just says stupid things sometimes. I did it" I told him as I laughed at what I was saying and getting ready to run. "SERIOUSLY?" he said. He ran towards me and I ran away as fast as I could. By this time, our guards had cleared the halls and were trying to keep people back from where we were, and two were left to catch him. I turned the corner and went past the two guards. They closed behind me and I ran into the cosmetics store Cameron and Bre were in. "Cameron! Cameron! Bre! Where's Bre?" I yelled. Cameron waved "Over here Lexi, run" he said and I sprinted over there. When I got to where they are, I didn't let them speak "Okay, listen Cameron and don't talk," then I heard the man get away from the guards and they were on the floor. He got up and was looking for the store I ran into "You need to call your mom, RIGHT NOW and tell her to meet us outside in the car, with the car run ng and ready to go? Got it?" He shook his head yes. "Make sure Bre gets to the car safely and same with Hayes, Nash and Shawn."

"What are you going to be doing?" Bre folded her arms and looked at me." I turned to Bre looking a little frustrated but not meaning to. "Look Bre, I got this crazy old man on my tail. I have a plan Kay? Cameron calls our moms, they get the car, and tell us when were ready. Then, I'll lead him away, and you guys run to the car, but don't you dare say anything about me to Hayes. Just keep going. When you're in the car, give me about three minutes, then call me. Then I'll run out to the car and we can go" I was out of breath after that because I was speaking really fast, a d I was getting worried because I could hear Richerd getting closer.

"Just go with the plan, okay?" I said sternly. They agreed and I ran out. He turned and kept running. But I was getting slower. My breathing was catching up. 'Fuck' my mind said.  I was turning the corner but then saw Cameron holding Bre's hand, and going up to Hayes. He was looking back "What about Lexi though??" I heard him say. "She has a plan, just go with it! Run!" And they all left with Nash a few feet ahead of them and Shawn quite a way ahead of them all. I had to turn around so that he wouldn't see them leaving and he almost caught me. He grabbed a live of my shirt and it made me stumble. The side of my short also ripped a little. But then he fell and I got farther again.

"I'll get you sooner or later, mither fucker!" He yelled at me. When I knew Bre and he boys were gone, I ran towards the guards. "Get 'em" I said as I ran past. I slowed down and turned the corner, knowing that they caught him, but not for long. I ran into the girls bathroom and his in one of the stalls and pulled out my phone. I dialed Cameron.

      (C-Cam, L-lexi)

C- lexi you okay?

L- are you guys there? In the car?

C- yeah I was literally just about to cal

L- ok give me a few minutes

C-okay, be caref-

      (Hayes interrupts)

H- Lexi, babe, hurry please! I miss you.

   I rolled my eyes

L- I know, I miss you to. See you soon

Everyone said goodbye and I canceled the call early because the guy ran into the girls bathroom.

"I know you're in here! Come out, come out, wherever you are" he said

"You pervert" I yelled at him. He laughed and started banging on stall doors opening them, and moving down the row. 'Oh shit' I said inside. I climbed under going to the stalls towards the end he hasn't opened. Then I climbed under, and when he was me, I bolted. I knew he wasn't far behind, so I ran through a few stores, I'm not sure which cause I wasn't paying attention and just wanted to get away from this guy. I mean COME ON, it was ONE PICE OF GUM, and a little bit of hair. I purposely tipped over some racks and he slowed down trying to get over them. When I got out the doors, the van side door was open. I basically jumped into the van from six feet. I landed on Bre, and Shawn's lap. Mostly on Bre's, luckily because ethat would have been super weird. The door slammed closed, we were speeding away, and I got up. Everyone bombarded me with hugs. Bre hugged me first, putting her arms around my waist because i was standi g over where she was sitting so she didnt have to move that much, then Cameron hugged me from the side where his chest was on my right shoulder and his arms were wrapped around the under part of my arm, kind of on the  Shawn was kind of behind and to the side of me. But just a little more on my back. His arms wrapped around my back and met on my stomach right under my... Bust. Nash was stitting behind Bre so he was leaning over Bre with his arms around my neck. We stood there for about three minutes as they all told me how happy they were that I was still alive. It was funny. Then I noticed Hayes wasn't huggimg me. "Hey" I said "get over here. Join our group hug" I said. "No I'm find, besides I don't think there's anymore space," he said but he scooted over closer to where our group hug was. "Buuuut," he started again. "Maybe this will be just as good as a hug" me leaned in and kissed me. It was nice, and I liked when everyone in the hug was saying 'Ooooooooooooh'.

Then I heard our moms clearing their throats. Then we all sat back in our spots, and went back to the apartment.

  When we got there, we all plopped where ever we wanted, ordered Chinese and pizza, because Cameron and Nash couldn't decide, and watched TV the rest of the night. We were all tired so our moms didn't tell us go to to our separate rooms. I was laying on the bed, next to Hayes, with my hand in his, Bre was sitting next to Cameron, on the edge of the bed, and Nash was sitting next to Shawn on the ground tryignto act like a couple since they kept teasing Hayes and I, and telling us how cute Cam and Bre would be.

It was 1:15. I looked over and Bre was asleep on the end of the bed they were on kimda scrunched up, next to Cameron, who was still under the sheets partially awake playing with Bre's hair. I checked Nash and Shawn, who were sitting upright, but sleeping with their heads leaning on each other. Hayes, was laying next to me, asleep. It was really cute. Then, my eyes got heavier, heavier... And I was asleep
