P.O.V Ivory

I was exhausted yet despite that I felt the need to reach the floor not flying safely in the air. I had been pulled into the west part of town by Carter away from the action. I struggled from his grip till a sharp pain shot up from my leg that I was trying to ignore. It seemed as if he would have to just stop in the middle of the road when I heard a hushed yell. "What are you thinking? Get inside, it's dangerous out there!" A small girl in a yellow dress appeared from inside one of the cottages. She pushed back a medium length lavender strand of hair from her pale face, letting her fuchsia eyes see us better.

The girl looked left and right before gesturing for us to come inside. Carter flapped slowly into the cottage through the wooden front porch. "Ms. your umm flying cat can place you right there on the couch." The exceed's face fell at her words while his wings vanished. "I'm a exceed and I don't belong to anyone." The small girl's face lit up in amazement, her eyes sparkling.

"Wow! Mr.Kitty talks that's awesome! Ms. do you have magic? I'm the only one in my village who has magic it's great to meet you my name is Minami! Oh also are you okay, you look like your in pain?" The young girl talked rapidly seeming to make sounds melting into each other.

Once piecing together her words I replied, "The cat is named Carter, I'm Ivory a ice mage and I'm in buckets of pain right now." Minami got more excited her smile stretching up to her eyes. She grabbed a pillow and placed it under my aching left ankle as I tried to hold back my pain. "So Minami where are your parents? Did they tell you to bring me inside?" The giddy girl looked down at her feet slouching over her hair once again a curtain over her eyes.

I recognized her reaction quickly, Iv'e seen it many times usually accompanied by tears. "Never mind that, forget I said it." I extended out my right arm opening my palm to revel a tiny replica Carter made of ice. "For you for letting me into your house." Minami looked up with wide eyes turned and ran into another part of the house. When she returned, in her hands were a plate of potato salad and macaroni, which she set down on the coffee table by the couch. "You look hungry so please eat it, I can only cook those two things I usually burn or mess up everything else." She gave me a nod while she took the ice sculptor from my hand.

The frail looking girl gave a tiny smile, looking down from her hands to the exceed standing on the armrest of the couch. "I don't know much about healing injuries but maybe I can get you some help in the morning. It will be safe outside by then." Minami placed the sculptor on the mantle of her fire place. At least she gave me food fixing the injury would have to wait.

I never have been good at caring for myself by missing meals and rushing along instead of learning basic first aid. "I'm going out onto the porch to see if Ryuu comes this way. Don't think about escaping, you won't get far with that." Cater looked to my sprained ankle as if it was a ticket to being Sclass.

With Carter out of the house it was just Minami and I in the living room. "So Ms.Ivory how did your ankle get injured? Was it the bandits? You shouldn't have been outside!" The girl had sat down on the chair across the coffee table from the couch where I was laying. She really is talkative person and curious, but it's endearing. "No bandits didn't cause this the flaming idiot that kidnapped me did. That cat is his accomplice, I have been trying to escape from the evil two but since they injured me I couldn't run to safety! Do you think you could help me before it's too late?" I acted as if I was in need of saving from someone who purposely caused my injure.

If Minami could somehow create a diversion once I healed up a bit I could get away from the Salamander kitty. The lavender hair girl gasped and quickly looked at the door. "So you aren't friends with Carter! Oh no, Ms.Ivory I'll help you! I may not be strong but my magic can possible help." She stood up confidently one fist clenched by her chest.

"You can call me Ivy and lastly since we can't work out a plan now don't act suspicious when Carter comes back or a blond werido." I told her in a whisper as she nodded her head. A creaking noise came from the door accompanied with the voice of a women. "Hello sorry for intruding my name is Wendy and I have come to heal Ivy, where is she?" No not another dragon slayer! Ugh she's just going to complicate my plan.

I always admired Wendy but with her being all aunt like my evil kidnappers 'cover for Minami to help me could be ruined. Then the framed evil kidnapper walked in just to worsen it all. "Ivory it turns out that the tornado was just Wendy! She came to heal your ankle with her magic. Isn't this great now we can get you back to the guild faster!" Ugh, as much as I want to be healed I rather not go back to the guild. Wendy stood in front of me looking down at me still lying on the green couch.

She inspected my ankle to figure out the level of damage that had been done. "This will be a easy fix it will take me about three minutes to fix then you need to let it rest for 30 minutes."

Wendy smiled, probably glad to know I was still kicking after not seeing my parents or really leaving much of a trail in four years. "That's fine, please help me." I spoke in monotone, feeling a tinge of guilt from her sweet look. The Sky Witch casted spells on my ankle as the evil duo sat at the kitchen table a room away.

They probably left to discuss plans for getting me back to the guild since once my ankle healed I didn't have any handicap keeping me from escaping. I doubt they had anymore magic handcuffs and I wouldn't give them the chance to put them on me.

I felt a bit of pain from the final sting the light blue magic circle gave me. I could see Minami sort of hiding behind a standing lamp in the living room watching me and Wendy. Her expression would be plain to most onlookers but I deducted her true emotion of distress.

Smaller pupils in her fuchsia eyes, a strained structure combined with her rapid heart beat I could hear if I zoned in on it and twirling a strand of wavy hair as a matter of stress relief.

My puny act convinced her all too well, of impending evil doers in her home plus now with Wendy outnumbered us. She kind of reminded me of Lisanna's daughter that I looked after once during my Gildarts like time in Fairy Tail.

Though I heard Gwenth had a major personality flip into more of the former she devil Mirajane. "Um if you all don't have a place to stay the night you are welcome to spend the night..." Minami came out from behind the lamp and spoke loud enough for the two in the in the kitchen to hear. Wendy answered first, "I was going to set up camp but it seems I lost the time to do so. Thank you we will all be staying I don't want my nakama traveling unrested."

She gave a half bow to Minami to display her gratitude. Minami seeming a tad disappointed by them taking her offer moved to get blankets from a hall closet for everyone. Once they were all in place with the lights out the lavender haired girl sneaked up to my couch-bed. "Do you want to discuss the plan now?", she whispered in my ear softly. I nodded in agreement, then we headed to her room to speak in secret.
