Chapter 5

-In the Medic Room-

"So you used a technique that your father taught you?" Noah was awake.

But from the looks of his condition he'd seen better days.

But he was unconscious for only five hours.

Immediately there was construction work for IS Academy.

Ichika checked on his friend to see if Noah was alright.

Noah explained to Ichika and the girls that followed behind him about the technique that was called the Eight gates.

So far he was able to open six of the gates.

But never opened the other two gates. Because it could lead to death.

That was a drawback that Noah wanted to avoid because it would have devastated his parents after God answered their prayers and allowed their only child to live to gain another chance at being alive.

"....You have a lot of guns to pull those gates off without dying." Chifuyu stepped inside the medic room. " For you to pull that off at your age is impressive. But you could have gotten yourself killed! And for what?! To prove a point?!"

Noah looked down: No. I pulled that off because I wanted to protect the chances everyone else was given here. I dunno most of their stories. But I do know what they desire. Besides Ichika of course.

"You think this is funny?!" Chifuyu saw Noah laugh despite his condition. "You could have died! Were you willing to throw your second chance to prove yourself away?! Just like that?!"

Noah: If it means that everyone else in this school gets the chance to prove themselves. Listen. I know the consequences of using the eight gates. That's why I went as far as the sixth gate. Because the Sixth gate is the strongest gate out of the eight. And I get to keep the life I was given. I didn't have a choice. You were beaten. Losing strength because of your IS unit. Ichika and the others were getting people evacuated. Buildings were getting toppled. And burglars were trying to steal whatever information they could get their hands on. I know what I did was reckless. But when there is no plan B, what do you do? You take the risk. No matter how painful it'll be. And you make the most of it. Because moments like that happen only once in a lifetime.

Chifuyu was at a loss for words.

As were Lingyin and Cecilia.

Ichika: Sis?

Chifuyu: I told you to call me officer. You and the girls make sure that Noah makes a fast recovery. I will overlook the construction and see what the council will have me and Maya to do next. Noah. Make a fast recovery. That isn't the last time we'll see those adversaries again.

The organization is known as [Ruined Country Weaving Industry] - [Phantom Task].

It had seen over 50 years of operations and according to the rumour, the organization is born from the second 'big war' (that could refer to World War II).

They have no allegiance to any country.

Religious cause.

Or ideology and the races of the people involved is unknown.

That is why the organization is so difficult to predict.

They also had numerous clashes with the Sarashiki family.

Who in turn had some underground dealings.

There are two main groups in the organization.

The Board of directors who manages the organization.

And the Operational squad full of various specialists.

They began targeting IS's due to their deadly potential to wreak havoc internationally.

It also managed to stay in the shadows because countries who lost their to announce their losses.

As it would put them on a disadvantageous position to rival countries.

This is strongly due to the fact that a country with more IS cores will have an advantage in the political monopoly.

Madoka:....That boy....He could have killed us with that attack. We are the Phantom Task. We faced Countries and stole their IS units. We have been challenged by our own kind and weakling men. All fell before our feet. And just when I thought that invading IS Academy and killing Ichika and Chifuyu would be easy...Here is this...Boy. With abilities I have never seen before. And his attacks. I will make sure that by my hands he will meet his end.

Autumn: Oh no you don't Madoka! Squall and I will make the boy meet his end! Your focus is on family matters!

Madoka: Am I not the leader? Am I not in charge? So what I decide. I decide. And I decide that I will end this boy for causing my victories to appear like mere giveaways!

Autumn was about to Rebuttal with Madoka.

Until. "Ladies. Whoever is in charge does not matter. The fact remains the same. He could have killed all three of us. If Autumn did not save us. One boy with power like that is dangerous. Dangerous to our goals and to our plans. That means we must use our tactic skills to get the better of them and him. So here is what will take place. I will go undercover as a new teacher assistant. And one of you will be my student. While the rest of you are kept informed. That way, if there is an opening that can be used to our advantage, we will use it."

Squall was the adviser and level headed one of the group.

She would make most suggestions that would be improved by Madoka.

Madoka was the lost sister that Chifuyu knew about.

But not Ichika.

And there was a reason for that.

Yes.

But Madoka wasn't in it for that reason.

She still was.

But not as much. Noah.

It seemed Noah had got her interested in his abilities.

She wanted to learn more about them.

Maybe Madoka could use these abilities to her advantage.

The possibilities were limitless.

But her eyes were now on one person.

And it was Noah Yasuke.
