-IS Academy-

IS Academy was born when Japanese scientists had created a high-tech called "Infinite Stratos" (IS).

Possessing technology and combat capabilities far surpassing that of any other arms system: the IS threatens to destabilize the world. Faced with such an overpowered weapon, the world's nations enact the "Alaska Treaty'' Which goes about saying that the ISes shall never be used for military combat purposes.

And that the existing IS technology must be equally distributed to all nations, to .

However, sometime after the IS was introduced. Society has undergone a drastic change. As ISes can only be operated by women.

There began the shift in the power balance between men and women. W.

However within this new age of peace, a 15-year-old Japanese teenager named Ichika Orimura changes everything during an accidental run-in with a hibernating IS suit.

In that moment in time it was revealed that he possesses the innate ability to operate an IS. Thus making him the only male in the world capable of doing so.

Seeing his potential, the Japanese government forcibly enrolls the bewildered young man in the prestigious Infinite Stratos Academy.

A multicultural academy where IS pilots from all over the world are trained. And they were ALL girls.

However, there would soon be another in the midst of them.

One who does not possess an IS unit like Ichika Orimura.

And his name was Noah Yasuke.

"Class today I want to introduce two new students. One is named Ichika Orimura. And the other is named Noah Yasuke. And yes, they will be the first males to ever attend IS Academy! So boys, would you please do us the honor and come inside your new homeroom?!" Ms. Maya was a young assistant and teacher.

Knowledgeable of the IS units, she was placed in charge of the founder to instruct the IS pilots.

She was around the same age if not younger than Maya Yamada. 

Chifuyu had long black hair and wore professional attire.

When the future Pilots saw Ichika and Noah enter their homeroom.

They were amazed and giggled like girls did over how handsome Ichika was.

Not Noah. Ichika.

Which Noah didn't mind.

However there were some other girls who found Noah...Mysterious.

Ichika: こんにちは。 はじめまして

Noah:....Um...Hi.

"Before we continue, is there anything special you would like to tell the class?" Ms. Maya asked Ichika and Noah.

"...Yes." Said Noah. "I want to make this aware to all of you. I don't not possess the ability to pilot an IS unit. bUt that will not change the fact that I can learn about it. Study it. Like one studies nature. I am a kind hearted person. I have my faults like all others do. But my desire is to work past them and become a better person. I know you girls must think that I'm some sort of pervert but I'm not. And if any of you want to test me to see if I am worthy of being amongst you all, then I welcome it."
