I think I might- A Tanjiro x Zenitsu story

Rain part 2

♡︎Zenitsu POV ♡︎
To be honest I really thought he didn't wanted to come with me I find myself quite annoying sometimes when I look back at it. I look back at Tanjiro who's all ready dressed and waiting at the door for me then I look at Inosuke who's loudly snoring and not even sleeping right on the bed. I continue putting my shoes and walked out the butterfly estate and left a note for Inosuke but I doubt he knows how to read.

We started our walk, of course I was walking right next to Tanjiro because I was scared of the woods

But for some reason I felt butterfly's in my stomach when I walked next to Tanjiro who was just happily walking

T: "so...uh I was wondering how long this walk was?"
Z: "about an hour but to get back it's another hour an 10 mins but other than that it's worth it"

THUD

☾ Tanjiro's POV ☽
I turn around to see Zenitsu on the ground because he tripped over a tree root.
I couldn't help but chuckle

Z: " HeY dOn'T Laugh at me!"
T: "I-I a-m sorr-y-" when I said that I couldn't help but laugh
Z: "haha...now help me get up"

I help Zenitsu get up I could smell that he was sad and when I looked at him I saw that tears were starting to fall down he's cheek I hug him and told him I'm sorry to be honest I could have hugged zenitsu forever but I had let go because I knew he liked Nezuko and not me

Then I became stupid and asked if he wanted to hold my hand so that way he wouldn't fall but before I could realize what I had said he took my hand and continued walking I could feel my cheeks warm up a bit and realized I was blushing 'stop blushing Tanjiro calm down'

I feel zenitsu hand it was soft a little cold but warm and then stared to smell the sweet peach smell I love so much I could smell it forever.

♡︎Zenitsu's POV♡︎

I hear that soft tune of his heartbeat it was soft but rough like the waves or the rain then I felt his hand it was rough and soft at the same time it was a little confusing but then I listen back to his heartbeat it was so calming my eyelids we're starting to get heavy

In the softest voice I could do I told him I was starting to get sleepy and that we should head back after all we were only 30 mins into the walk I let go of his hand but before I could tell him again I blacked out.

THUD

☾ Tanjiro's POV ☽

I heard a thud and turned around hoping he didn't trip over another tree root, nope he did not trip over a tree root but he did trip over a rock I started smelling blood coming from him I picked him up bridal style and looked at he face his nose was bleeding his eyes were shut tight but not too tight he had dirt on his face then I remembered him telling me about going back to the butterfly estate I walked back since it wasn't that far but then it started raining.

I knew with the condition he was in he would probably get sick so like any normal person I ran carefully not to fall or trip then I felt a small hug around my waist it was Zenitsu he was hugging me I could not stop blushing.

We soon arrived I quickly set him down and start cleaning his face I hear Nezuko get out of her box and started walking up to me and petting my head and then walking back to her box.

I finished cleaning Zenitsu and I layed Zenitsu back down on he's bed but before I could go back to mine he was holding my hand and not wanting to let go he started saying something about me leaving him so I decided sleeping with him.

slowly he started cuddling me his head on my chest and he's peach sent came back and stared hugging me tighter until I cuddled him back with a a hug I slowly put my nose on his head and started sniffing that soft peach smell slowly I drift into a deep sleep...
