Chapter Three:
🌹~Monday~🌹
The sun was setting and we were still talking in Eren's room.
I heard a loud knock on the door, I opened it and saw Captain.
I forgot about the meeting.
"Hey, Captain. Sorry I-" No excuse would be good enough.
"You're twenty minutes late, they sent me to go look for you, you idiot"
He said.
I waved goodbye and heard Eren yell "R.I.P!"
Captain dragged me to Erwin's office and threw me onto the chair.
"Found him." Captain said.
"Good, can we start now?" Erwin asked.
"Sorry..." I said, feeling small.
Captain rolled his eyes, but had a small microscopic smile.
I returned my focus to the meeting,
"We have another mission coming up soon," Hange said.
Worry ran through me.
"We'll leave on Friday this week, our target is to capture three titans for my studies and to help train the new cadets on their first real mission" Hange explained.
I nodded.
"Levi, you, and Eren, will be in the center of the formation." Erwin said.
"What about Mikasa, Marco and the others?" I asked.
"Mikasa needs new gear, Marco needs more training and the others are working on making more blades and gear." Erwin explained.
I was glad that they did that so I wouldn't have to worry as much about the rest getting hurt.
Levi, Eren and I can hold our ground so I'm not as worried about us getting hurt.
"You'll be getting new gear and blades tomorrow to get used to them before Friday" Hange said, more seriously.
Hange had seen hundreds get killed, whether it be technical problems with gear or not enough training. She'd seen just as much, so I understood her concern.
"You may leave," Erwin said, I got up and started to walk to my room.
I felt a tap on my shoulder but
couldn't see anyone when I looked around.
I felt another tap, no one again.
Just as I felt a tap I grabbed their hand and pushed them to the wall.
Captain, of course...
"You're awfully quick," he said.
"And strong~" He continued, pulling me close.
His head by my neck as he whispered.
I let go of him.
I shook my head, I can't chicken out now.
This is a chance.
I looked back at him, his smug look back.
His icy eyes piercing through my heart.
We were out in the open hallway.
I put my head on his shoulder, breathing in slowly.
Not really knowing what to do.
I snaked one arm around him, feeling his now rapid heartbeats.
"Are you nervous, Captain?~" I teased, my head now in the crook of his neck.
He shivered.
Staying silent.
"Can I kiss you?" I asked, softly.
He nervously and slowly nodded.
"Close your eyes," I said to him.
His eyes shut and he waited for a kiss on his lips.
To tease I pressed a gentle angels kiss on his shut eye.
He opened his eyes, slightly disappointed.
"What?" I asked, a teasing undertone in my voice.
He went on his tippy toes and pressed a quick kiss on my lips.
I smiled a little.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked, I chuckled.
"Nothing, you're just cute" I said.
A dumbfounded look on his face.
"I'm not cute!" He said, stomping quietly.
"You're proving my point," I said, laughing a little.
I then thought about what was happening.
"Will you forget about this tomorrow?" I asked,
not wanting it to go back to the way it was.
I wanted Captain to be mine and me to be his.
"I'm not sure... I don't want to forget. But at the same time I don't know if this is a good idea. I just need time to think" Captain said, I nodded.
It hurt to hear that but I'd always respect his decision.
"Okay, see you tomorrow" I said, walking away.
"Bye..." he said, sounding hurt.
