          Eight years ago I joined the survey corps.

They said I had learned to master the gear and learned to fight faster than anyone else in the entire corps had, well... Other than Captain Levi that is.

                          I leaned back and fell from the top of the building with my eyes closed, feeling the wind blow past me.

I was getting close to the ground and then swung back up into the sky, gracefully flying and winking jokingly at Captain.

He hated it when I tried to show off.

I did a backflip onto the roof he was standing on and bowed, perfect landing.

He rolled his eyes, "Just 'cause you're good doesn't mean you have to show off constantly" Captain pointed out, I raised my eyebrows.

                 "You're one to talk. When you start fighting it's like seeing the one man army, destroying whoever comes close" I said, using overexaggerated hand movements and metaphors.

                  "Except me, you tolerate my existence too much" I joked.

He rolled his eyes, "In your dreams brat" he said back.

"Well it was worth a try" I said, sighing.

                   "I'm going back to my room" I said before flying out gracefully.

"Show off!" I heard him call, I chuckled.

I got into my room through the window and started my own training.

                   I'd been working on training to     enhance my strength by focusing on shifting to titan strength on only one part of my body.

So if need be I can protect myself, mainly to test how far I could push my strength.

                   I sharpened my nail and sliced my leg open a little, triggering me to shift into my titan form.

But right before that could happen I imagined forcing all the power from my titan from into my right arm and hand.

I opened my eyes and looked at my right arm, it had turned so it now had the muscle on the outside and spikes from focusing all that power in one place.

                    I looked at my arm in amazement.

I had done some tests on seeing if this could be possible.
I doubted it was, yet here we are.

        I got some strong materials to test my new strength, I got ten bricks.

I tried to move one of the bricks with my right hand and all the bricks broke in seconds.

I jumped back, terrified of my new found strength.

                   "I could accidentally kill someone with this," I said, scared.

I closed my eyes and relaxed, my arm returning to normal.

I was excited but scared at the same time.

                    I heard yelling in the distance.

Eren...

I walked to the courtyard to find him and Jean. Of course they were fighting.

"Cut it out. Jean, Marco called by the dining hall. Eren..." I couldn't think of anything.
