CHAPTER 1 :

it the middle of winter , and it so Damn cold up here in Maine . " bye Steven I'll see Sunday ." I said throwing on my jacket and grabbing my bag ' " see ya' azalea ." I toss over me and walking out of the café . I the wind pick up and was getting worst , I then looked around to see if anyone was around I then ran my vampire speed to my car across the other curb. I then jump inside the weather didn't bother me , of course because I'm a werewolf and a vampire . I then started my car speed off the curb and onto the road, as I drove to my house I realized I had to call Jessica. Jessica is my life long friend we were together since we were born. she isn't a vampire nor werewolf , but she is happily married with a werewolf down in Massachusetts. she moved down there last year with her husband Frank , I never really got to meet him . he was barely around when I was with Jess. I then pulled up to my little small apartment , going through the drive way in the back of the apartment. I parked in my parking spot , I hopped out and ran to my door and unlocking it . I threw off my jacket and bag tossing it over my couch , I then slid my keys on the counter . I walked over to my mail noticing it all letters from my bad , his in jail . I don't know why , I haven't seen him in years . I never replied to his letter , I just don't . I then remember to call Jess. I then took out my phone from my back pocket , it ringed three time until I heard a familiar voice , " azalea!?! ." Jess said surprised , " no this is the government of Maine." I said sarcastic to her making her laugh , " gosh azal were have you been , I missed you ." jess said making me chuckle I then leaned on my counter folding my arm across me. " I know , I know you've missed me and need . but hey I have a life too." I said sarcastic to her , she then giggled , " well I've been working and you know living like a low life loser." I said looking in my refrigerator and taking out a can of soda , " azalea I told you so many times , you can come down here with me and Frank I don't mind and Frank doesn't either , we even have a room for you ." jess said serious , " Jess , I can't that will just ruin your space with you and Frank , and it will look Like I can't handle myself . but I can." I said annoyed of jess nagging, but me and Jessica know I can't ." please azalea , I missed you and it great down here ." Jess said persuading me ,I then though about it I do miss jess and I've been bored and alone . " you know what Jess , okay I'll go live with you guys . but only in one condition ." I said making jess yell and then stop ," what ." !? she said breathlessly and excited " I get a queen size bed and hunt wherever and whenever." I said making her giggle " yeah about the bed and what do you mean hunt ?! " she said confused and curious , " I need to eat too ." I said making her huff " azalea , your not going to kill anyone down here , only the animals but not so many ." she said upset but also happy " I'll see you , tomorrow jess." I said getting up from the counter and walking towards my bedroom ," okay azalea , I'll see you later ." she said to excited and anxious, I then hung up and threw my phone on my bed , I then chuckled at myself I'm moving in Massachusetts with Jess !? why was this so hard to believe , is it because I haven't seen Jess in a while?! I then had to set everything up.

I woke up from the light hitting my eyes , I groan as I was blocking it . I then got up from the couch , actually falling off my couch . " ouch " I said under the living room carpet , I then got up and made my way towards the kitchen , to pour myself a cup of blood . I drank some and walked to my room picking up my phone to check the time , It was 11 and I Remember I had to call my landlord to tell him Im moving and to tell him I need a pick up truck . I then called him , wondering if he is available right now . It ringed four time " good morning miss azalea ." William my landlord said glad to hear me , " goodddd morning , umm I need to talk to you about something ." I said to William making him curious and wondering ." Yeah." I then sat on my bed drinking another sip of my cup ," well my friend wants me to move in Massachusetts and she also offered me to live with her so I wondering when can we sort all this out ." I said to William ," well , I can come by today and let you sign all the papers and get you a pick up truck to help ." He said making me relived and glad. " okay then , thank you for everything ." I said getting and pacing around my room and pulling on my long sleeve at me hands , griping it in my hands . " no problem , and I hope everything is going to turn out good." He said hang up I then hung up and thrust my phone in my back pocket . Damn that was fast , I though I'll have to wait for him to print the papers and other thing for me to move out of here. But then I'm living in a small apartment , so it probably not that hard to collect all the info . I then decided to to take a shower and clean up , I ran to the bathroom and turn on the shower . I then quickly stripped and hopped in the shower , not caring if the water was cold or hot .
