the boys had finished streaming and were sat in the living room in a kind of awkward silence.
the rain drops fell against the window sill. George stared over at the glass pane and started to smile.

when he was younger the rain used to calm him down when he was sad or scared.
he often got worked up bc of silly things.
like not being able to have ice cream or having to do homework, but as he grew up the habit kind of left him alone.

dream noticed him staring out of the window.
"wanna go outside ?"
George looked in confusion at dream "but it's pouring dream, why would we go outside"
"yeah but you seem so mesmerised by it, plus dancing in the rain is fun."
was dream out of his mind? it had been raining for like half an hour and there was no sign of it stopping. why would you go outside?
"cmon let's go!!"
"okay but let me get into some old clothes first" of course George didn't want to ruin his good clothes.

"HURRY UP" dream shouted stood, by the back door of the apartment.
George was rushing to put on the old clothes, he chose some old grey joggers and a plain white t-shirt. he put on his shoes and walked to the back door.
"hurry Georgie"
"wait do we not need like an umbrella or anything?"
"no nO NO OF COURSE WE DONT NEED AN UMBRELLA"
"alright no need to get sarcastic dream"
they stepped out of the back doors in unison, both carrying a giddy smirk across their faces as they began to soak in the rain.
dream stretched out his hand gesturing for George to take it.
"really?" George asked, surprised by dream's actions.
dream nodded and George took hold of it. dream pulled him closer and started to sway slightly.
George scoffed in disbelief of what was happening, was this a day dream or was he actually stood there hand in hand with his bestfriend.
george decided to stop worrying and relax, he gently placed his head on dreams chest as they both slowly danced. the raindrops hitting their bodies, making their clothes almost see-through. they didn't mind though.
