IX

HYUNJIN POV

i sat near the sea. the waves kissed my feet as i stared with a blurry vision into the horizon. though, i heard footsteps approach me. ignoring them, i rest my chin on my knee and sobbed harshly by myself.

that was until, someone sat next to me. his hand faced me. i looked up to see the boy i call, fennec.

i took his hand and intertwined our fingers. "it must've been difficult... right?" he asked, staring at the sky with me. i nodded and wiped away my tears.

"yeah, he treated me like... trash." i gulped and stared at our hands. "actually believing the rumors that spread in school, saw that i punched that stupid bitch... who spread the rumors.." i sighed.

"everything's gonna be alright. don't think about it too much, okay? it's not healthy." "wow you really do care about others health, don't you?" he nodded and giggled. then he muttered something i couldn't really understand.

SUNOO POV

i giggled it off and turned away. mumbling to myself, "only about people who are special to me..."

then i knocked back into my senses. PEOPLE WHO ARE SPECIAL TO ME?! i mentally panicked but kept my cool. buuuuut i squeezed hyunjins hand that made her wonder.

she looked at me and i scratched my nape. "sorry.." "it's alright." she reassured and stared back at the sun. "not only does a fennec remind me of you," hyunjin blurted. i looked at her and tilted my head.

"the sun does too!" i giggle. "i mean, i am called SUNoo for a reason." she smiled and chuckled at my remark. "suits you."

then, there was some yelling and cooing going on behind us. we turned to the group and groaned, of course it was sunghoon and friends.

"that was adorable and all, but we specifically sent sunghoon here to apologize to his cousin." heeseung pushed sunghoon over to hyunjin and crouched down.

"hey look cous, i'm sorry for acting like a total dumbass earlier it was my mistake. forgive me?" he begged. "no." she teased. sunghoon sighed deeply. "iced tea?" "alright fine." she hugged him TIGHTLY.

sunghoon was literally as pale as a vampire could be right now. but then she let go so that she doesn't accidentally commit a crime and gets sentenced to jail for 3rd degree murder- anyways.

they got it cleared out and we spent some time at the beach

HYUNJIN POV

i heard someone approach me. jay took me by my arms and picked me up. but before i could let myself submit into his arms, i grabbed jays arm and kicked him down until he was on the floor.

"i told you don't underestinate my power~" i smirked and dragged him along the sand, into the water. i watched him float away and waved in a sassy way, walking away like a baddie rawr- ew no.

sunoo clapped like a seal and giggled at jay who swam his way back onto the shore. then, i ran back into the water to tackle jay. "oH my gAWD SUNGHOON GET YOUR COUSIN OFF OF ME" jay shrieked.

i swam away and enjoyed myself. until jay grabbed a hold of me again. "PIECE OF SHIT LET GO!" i shrieked, slapping and punching him. "OW OW OKAY MISS GURL GEEZ STOP!" then he let go. i ran back to the bag full of snacks, feeding myself off of one.

"eager and hungry now, aren't you?" jungwon giggled as he watched me dig through the bag. "shut up" i sneered. he raised his arm, showing a popsicle. "want it?" i hastily tried grabbing the popsicle, but he kept moving his arm.

"COME AND GET IIIIIIIT~~" jungwon stood up, running away from me.
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT GET BACK HERE!" i yelled, increasing my pace. someone grabbed my popsicle from his hand though.

"who took my fucking popsicle now?!" i yelled at the person in front of me.

sunooo.....

he handed me the popsicle and giggled. "that's a new side of you. when you're mad." i nodded. "w-well yeah, he didn't give me my freaking popsicle..." i frowned. "you have it now though?"

"yeah, thanks to you." "no problem, let's set ourselves down, okay?" he offered. i agreed and walked with him under our beach umbrella or whatever the heck you call those things.

"how come you swear with others but not with me?" sunoo blurted. i looked at him and blushed nervously. "w-well.. u-uhm..." i stammered.

NO ONES POV

"you can cuss with me too! i-i know how to cuss.." the boy shuddered, recalling the last time where he swore, once.

"you don't look like the type of person to cuss. if you can then do it." hyunjin giggled. "f-fuck." sunoo cussed. the girl laughed at him and held her stomach.

"w-what's so funny?" sunoo gulped. after she had calmed down, she turned to sunoo and sighed. "you hesitated a little there." hyunjin pointed out and smiled. sunoo looked down, blushing.

"that was cute." she lifted his chin and cupped his face, squishing his cheeks.

HYUNJIN POV

then i felt a cold substance against my cheek.

i looked at a girl who seemed around my age smush her ice cream into my face. "oops.. sorry." she rolled her eyes and giggled, walking away. but before i could let her go that easily, i yanked her hair and grabbed it tight.

"who told you i could let you go so easily, bitch." i took my popsicle and smeared it across her face as she screamed in horror. jungwon clapped and sunghoon ran up to me.

"what the fuck did you do to my sister?" sunghoon glared at the girl in anger. "i did nothing oppa-" "don't call me that. disgusting rat. just go away and don't mess with us alright? you'll never know what'll happen." she ran away and cried.

"let's get you to sunoo." "i swear i could've beaten that bitch with my claws." "watch your profanity" sunghoon chuckled.
