the next day arrived. hyunjin and sunghoon got ready for the day, preparing their ice skates and extra clothing. "sunghoon, hyunjin," ryujin called, "what?" "buy me a coffee on your way back. and i swear hyunjin if you don't i'll make sure you won't open your eyes tomorrow. i'll hang out with the other girls later." she said and left.

"TELL THEM I SAID HI!" "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" they shouted. sunghoon rolled his eyes and put on his coat. "woah park stupid, wait for me." she grimaced and put on her jacket. they went downstairs with their bags and slipped on their shoes.

"MOM! DAD! AUNT! UNCLE! WE'RE LEAVING!" sunghoon informed and walked out of the door. hyunjin followed and closed the door after her, admiring the neighborhood first. "hey it's not that pretty. come on they're waiting for us." he dragged her arm and waited at the bus stop.

they entered the bus, drove past a few stations and exited at the right one. they entered the mall and took the way over to the ice rink. "tickets for two please." sunghoon ordered. the cashier gave the tickets and the boy payed. they went over to the lockers and found the other boys.

"hey guys." sunghoon huffed. hyunjin waved and spotted sunoo. "ITS A BABY FENNEC!!!" she shrieked and smiled. sunoo got startled and smiled as the girl who approached him. "aye, at least crouch down so that i can pat your head." she commanded.

sunoo knelt down a little and let the girl pat his head. "lovebirds we feel lonely. we came here to ice skate not flirt. come on." jay groaned and walked in his ice skates to the rink. hyunjin and sunghoon put on theirs and followed the others onto the ice.

hyunjin snickered as she saw jay fall multiple times. "i'll wait until you fall so that i can laugh at your stupid ass." jay snickered. she rolled her eyes and ice skated on the rink, almost bumping into other people. sunghoon of course, ice skated smoothly.

he did a few tricks every now and then. it was entertaining to see. many people clapped as they saw him figure skating on the ice. hyunjin was too distracted, not knowing she had slipped on the ice. she expected an impact, but something held her up as she closed her eyes.

the girl looked up and saw sunoo holding her up in his arms. he helped her stand properly again. "thanks, you really didn't have to do that. it's fine if i just fall like a sack of potatoes." she smiled. "no worries. it's better seeing you happy than injured." he smiled.

"DID YOU HAVE TO RUIN IT SUNOO??" jay groaned loudly from the other side. "IT WAS ABOUT TO BE SO FUNNY!" he frowned. "yah! i'll make sure you're the one to fall again." hyunjin glared and smiled at sunoo. "lovebirds go on and move. it's boring seeing you two flirt." heeseung chuckled.

"w-we're not flirting!!!" sunoo denied. "sure." he smirked and left. "stupid.." the boy muttered. "don't be too offended by it, fennec." she smiled and pat his head. a soft blush tinted onto his cheeks as she came in contact. "come on! let's ice skate together." "we're going to the beach after this." sunoo blurted out.

"oh, alright." she took sunoo's hand and dragged him with her, being careful not to slip again. "you're so fast!" sunoo shrieked. "don't be scared. sunghoon taught me the basics, i've only slipped once so far." she assured and held sunoo's hand tightly.

he looked at their hands and smiled softly to himself. jake spotted them and chuckled. "let's take a break, i'm hungry." hyunjin said and dragged him out of the rink. "are you hungry too? i can go to the food court and get the both of us something if you want." she asked.

"let's go together! if you're okay with that.." he scratched his nape. "sure, come on fennec." she chuckled and took his hand again, walking up to the food court. sunoo almost fell out of balance due to walking on the thin razors.

they bought their food and sat down by a bench. "say, you go to the same school, right?" hyunjin blurted. "o-oh, yeah. i heard that you're a student council." he nodded. "indeed i am. i don't know how i became one though." she mumbled, stuffing a choco pie into her mouth.

he laughed. "slow down, you might choke if you eat as fast as you're doing now." he warned. she nodded and smiled, swallowing her food. hyunjin drank her water and looked at sunoo as he ate in silence.

she rested her head on her hand and admired his features. he looked up, catching her staring. he smiled and munched on his food slowly, being careful not to choke as he processed. "why are you staring? am i that handsome?" he chuckled.

"you can think of it that way." she laughed. just then, hyunjin received a phone call. the caller ID read 'park stupid'. she scoffed and picked up. "hello?"

"WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GO?! THE BOYS AND I HAVE SEARCHED EVERY WHERE FOR YOU BUT YOUR AREN'T HERE!" her cousin yelled through the phone.

"relax penguin, we're sitting in the food court. eating and chatting ya know?" she bit her choco pie.

"wow, and you didn't even dare to tell us?"

she hummed.

"we'll be on our way."

he hung up. she set her phone face down and looked at sunoo again. "what was that?" he frowned. "nothing, sunghoon was just asking where we disappeared off to. they're gonna be here soon." she informed and finished eating 3 choco pies so far.

they saw 6 boys approach them, walking slightly crooked and out of balance because of the skates. "you were faster than expected." she stared. "yeah, we aren't grandpa's. keep that in mind, hyun." jay rolled his eyes. "your place keeps going lower and lower," she clicked her tongue, "what do you have to say to that park jay?" she smirked.

"YAH!"
