I didn't know what to think of Silvano. His mysterious character always caught me by surprise. When I tried to get to know him, he would always push me away. Did he not want to know me or did I frighten him?

This castle wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure it was a little gloomy, and the windows needed fixing, but I think I was slowly starting to like it. Maybe that wasn't the only thing that I was started to come around.

"Silvano" I asked while we were meeting in the hallway one day. "Is it possible that you could teach me more about this castle's history? If I am going to stay here I would at least like to know who lived here before me."  Silvano slowly leaned against the wall. It felt like his eyes were penetrating mine and he was trying to concentrate on my features.

"Why do you want to learn about the history?"

His answer caught me by surprise. Usually Silvano would never be the type to answer questions anyone asked. He once rejected Alexander's question on why there was a mirror in the room. But why would he allow me to ask a question? Was it because he too was starting to get used to my presence? Was he... starting to trust me?

"Well" I said trying to ease back into the conversation. "I just think it would be nice to know of things of the past. It would be good to know about who came here before me, and also learn a little bit about you."

Suddenly my cheeks flushed a bright red. I began to stutter on my words, trying to gather my thoughts together. "I- I did not mean it like that. I meant"

Silvano rushed his hand threw the back of his hair. He seemed to be giving me a coy smile. A smile, such a rare sight on him but often seen on others. His smile was beautiful and I thought he should do it more.

"Haha" he said cheerfully. "It is no problem Holly."

"You want to know the history of the castle? Fine I'll tell you. But you have to promise me that once I tell you this secret you will not leave."

"Deal?" he said extending his right hand out.

"Deal" I said as I quickly shook his hand.
