"It feels rude to just go in, even though it's technically our room too." Harry says, hesitating to insert the key to their new dorm room. 

Niall nods from behind, each carrying only one suitcase for now, wanting to get in before they hauled everything to the room.

"Yea, what if he's changing? Or what if he has a girl?" Niall makes a face, walking up beside Harry to knock on the door. 

Harry's breathing quickens a bit and he takes a few steps back so his body is practically blocked by Niall's.

The two boys wait outside the oak door for a few seconds while they hear a muffled voice coming from inside. 

It only takes another moment until a young looking lad is opening the door with a wide smile. "Hi!" He says enthusiastically. 

"Hello, we are your roommates," Niall says, sticking out his hand. "I'm Niall, and this tall man behind me is Harry." He says and the boy's eyes shift to Harry. 

"Hi Harry, nice to meet you." He says, sticking out his hand and Harry just blinks at it until he hears Niall not-so-subtly clear his throat. 

"Oh, um , sorry." Harry stutters, clearing his throat and shaking his hand, "I'm Harry- wait- you knew that, um." He clears his throat awkwardly again. 

The boy only chuckles before nodding. "I did, my name is Liam, come in, come in, this is your dorm too." He laughs, politely stepping aside to let the two boys in. 

"Thanks, we didn't want to just walk in in case you were busy or something." Niall says, dumping his bag on the floor by the small kitchen. 

Harry was thankful they managed to snag a full dorm room. It may have cost tons extra, but instead of just one room they have three bedrooms, a small kitchen, a small living room, and a small laundry closet. It's kind of like a mini apartment on campus. 

"It's nice." Harry says quietly, still holding his bag, not knowing where to go with it. 

Liam can probably tell as he points to two rooms. "Um, I'm totally sorry but I already chose a room, we can trade if one of you want it instead, there's two more." Liam says, not wanting the two boys to make him move everything he just finished putting away. 

Niall only laughs softly. "Don't worry about it mate, it's your room too like we said, we're okay with these." He says. Liam nodded once and glanced at Harry who gave him a small smile.

"It's okay, I'm going to get the better one though, Niall deserves last pick." Harry laughs softly, already warming up to this Liam fellow. 

Liam smiles widely again, a bright laugh falling from his lips. "If you say so." He says. 

"I was actually just about to do a quick load of wash, I bought some new sheets. Need anything washed?" Liam asks and both boys shake their heads. 

"No, I think we're just gonna get everything situated. We still have some stuff to bring from our car." Niall says, eating a banana he found on the counter. 

Liam nods, turning around to go to the small hallway with the laundry room and an extra bathroom. 

Harry glances to Niall who seems to be concentrated on eating it and immediately dashes to look at the rooms. 

The first room is a decent size, but there was only one window on the wall, and the bathroom was an ugly color. 

He quickly made his way to the second room and his jaw almost dropped. It was perfect.
