The boy with long red/black hair put a bag of coal on his back as the girl who looked very similar to him "You got it?" she asked him as he nodded giving her a big smile "Of course, Takira!" the boy replied as a dark haired woman looked at the two "Tanjiro." as the boy immediately looked at the woman "Your face is all covered in soot let me clean you up" she told them as Takiria giggled "Yeah you look like you just rolled your face in dirt" she teased him. Tanjiro pouted "Yeah. Whatever" as their mother chuckled lightly as she wiped Tanjiro's face as she looked at Tanjiro "You know you really don't have to go all this snow could be dangerous" their mother told him "I want us to have a good New Years celebration for everyone can eat as much as they want so I'll sell all the charcoal I can" Tanjiro replied as their mother smiled "How thoughtful" she said as she finished cleaning his face

"Hey bro! Are you going to town again to again today?" a little boy with short black hair asked as a little girl added "I'm coming with you!" as their mother looked at them "No, you're not. You know you can't walk as fast as Tanjiro can, sweetie" their mother told them. "But mom?!" the two children shouted as she smiled "No way. He's not going to be able to use the cart today, which means he can't give you a ride when you get tired" their mother told them as they pouted as the little boy went over to Tanjiro hugging him by the waist "Tanjiro!" he shouted as the little girl went over toward him "Is Takira going with you?" she asked him. Takira looked at her as she also had a bag on her back "Yes, I'm going to try to give ms.Tanaka some cloth mother told me to put in her after we washed it and dried them" Takira said smiling. "I wanna go with you!" the little girl looked up both of them "I promise I'll help out" she told them giving them "Puppydog eyes" as Takira smiled "That's very kind of you Hanuko but...no you're staying home today" she told her patting her head softly as Tanjiro on his knees to the little boys level "Sorry, Shigeru you are too but we'll bring back goodies. Okay?" Tanjiro told him as he smiled "Promise?" he asked him. "Yeah" Tanjiro replied as Takira smiled looking at Hanuko "Look, I'll read to you when we get back later" Takira told her as she smiled brightly "Kay!" she replied smiling brightly as Tanjiro and Takira went side by side "Thank you for doing this you two" their mother told them. As they both smiled bigly "Of course!" Tanjiro told her Takira smiled "Well, it's time for us to head out let's go Tanjiro!" Takira told him as he nodded "Right!" he replied as they started heading off as their mom and siblings were waving bye to them as Shigeru shouted "Come back as soon as you can!"

We don't exactly have an easy life, but we're happy. Life can change though...Sudden as the weather, it shifts and moves on. The sun can't shine forever and the snow has to stop at some point. But whatever happens whenever happiness is destroyed it's always followed, by the smell of blood

Tanjiro and Takira had made it to town as there was an old woman sweeping as she looks up and sees them "Tanjiro. Takira. You both came down the mountain on a day like today? Don't you ever stop working? You two could catch a cold" the old woman told them. Tanjiro smiled "It's not as bad as you think" he replied as Takira smiled looking at Tanjiro "I'm going to give this to Miss Takana like mother said I'll meet you at home" Takira told him smiling brightly as he nodded "Be careful!" he shouted as she walked off Takira giggled waving as she shouted back  "Aren't I always!"

Tankira got to the house knocking on the door as a older woman with blonde hair and brown/red eyes opened it "Takira. You must be here with the cloth delivery" the woman said giving her a warm smiled as Takira smiled "Yes. Yes I am" she replied as she took off the bag off her back handing it to her "Is this the ones you wanted?" Takira asked her as she nodded "Yes, these are perfect thank you" she replied. Takira smiled brightly "Of course!" Takira replied cheerfully "I'll see you around Ms.Takana!" Takira told her as she went to go meet up with Tanjiro

"Tanjiro!" Takira shouted running over to him as he smiled looking over at her "So, the delivery went well I'm guessing?" he asked her as Takira smiled "Of course! Did you ever doubt me?" she asked as they both laughed softly as they continued to walk "How'd it get so late?" Tanjiro asked. "I guess we weren't paying attention to the time" Takira replied. "Oh, well. Least I sold out" Tanjiro said as Takira nodded smiling
