Tanjiro's Twin Sister {Demon Slayer}

Chapter 5

Takira ran in the forest of the Final Selection with her sword in hand as she chased a demon as she jumped over a tree branch and roots along the way as it growled at her looking straight into her eyes with it snarling as it lunched towards her with its hands out trying to grab her "Come on! You brat! Let me eat you!" the demon chanted with a smirk as it grabbed her blade throwing her towards the ground as her blade was still in her hands as the demon went to go towards her but Takira used her legs to kick the demon then getting up off the ground and slicing its head off as it's body then started to disappear as she turned around seeing two other demons looking at her growling "Hey...What's up?" she said to them with a light smirk on her face as they came running towards her as she cut their heads off with one swipe of her sword as she then continued running as she stopped for a second as she was breathing heavily as she had blood and dirt on her as she sniffed the air softly as she looked up seeing her brother "Tanjiro! You're alright!" she shouted cheerfully running over to him as he smiled as she hugged him "I'm glad you're alright too, Takira" Tanjiro replied as Takira let go of him "Come on we should continue going" Tanjiro told her and she nods as he grabbed her hand as they continued running 

Tanjiro and Takira had stopped running as they were breathing heavily and sweating as they both sniffed the air then looking up "That's wisteria" Tanjiro had stated as Takira took a deep sigh "We made it" she said as they both continued walking towards where were supposed to"I couldn't save him" Tanjiro said to himself as Takira looked at him "Couldn't save who?" she asked him but was soon interrupted by another voice as they both looked into the direction of the voice "I'm gonna die. I'm done for. I've survived for now...but soon enough, I'm dead" the guy with orange hair told himself 

What the hell is with this guy? If he's afraid of dying why did he come here to become a demon slayer? 

"Welcome back everyone" the two girls greeted as they walked out "and congratulations, We're pleased to see you're safe" they told everyone as a guy with a scar on his face spoke "So...I made it back here alive...What do I do now? Where's my sword?" the guy asked rudely "Patience. We must first issue you all uniforms. We'll start by taking your measurements. Next, your rank will be engraved on the back of your hand. For your reference there are ten ranks in total....Kinoe....Kinoto.....Hinoe.....Hinoto.....Tsuchinoe.....Tsuchinoto....Kanoe....Kanoto.... Mizunoe....Mizunoto....You all started at Mizunoto, this is the lowest rank in the Demon Slayer Corps" the girls told everyone. "And our swords?" the guy with a scar on his face asked rudely "In a moment, you will be given the chance to select the ore that will be used to for your swords. However, It will be ten to fifteen days before the weapons are ready for you" The girls explained. As the scar face guy groaned "Uh, really?" he muttered "But first-" the girls said as they clapped their hands together as crows came flying towards everyone sitting on their shoulder as Takira looked at it petting its head softly smiling a bit "Now that you're Demon Slayers, you must each be assigned your own Kasugai Crow" the girls explained. "We get crows then?" Tanjira asked "What for?" Takira added to the question "The Kasuhai Crows are primarily used to polsitate communication" the girls told them "Wait, crows? Isn't this a sparrow though?" the orange haired guy asked as Takira giggled a bit at him as Tanjiro elbowed her as she looked at him "What?" she asked him innocently "I don't need this crap!" the guy with a scar on his faced yelled as his crow flew away as he growled walking towards the girls as Tanjiro and Takira watched him "Geez...That dude is such a dick" Takira mumbled softly as Tanjiro nods in agreement "Who the hell cares about some stupid crow?" he asked as he grabbed the white haired girl by her hair "I want my sword, right now. Give it to me before I get angry. The color changing katana! I want it now! Do you hear me?!" the guy shouted at her as Tanjiro walked over to where he was as Tanjiro grabbed his arm "Take you hand off her or I'll break your arm! Now!" Tanjiro told him "Huh? Who the hell are you? Give it your best shot" he told him as Tanjiro started squeezing his arm as he made the guy groan as he was holding his arm "Are you finished chatting with eachother?" the black haired girl asked as she had pulled off the covering of the table that was full of ores "Now, the time has come. Please, select an ore to use for your sword. The steel you will use to protect yourself and to annihilate countless demons. Will be that of your own choosing" the girls said "I'm going to be dead soon anyway...Probably" the orange haired guy said to himself
