The Demon Prince [BOOK ONE]

Chapter 12: The Prince's signal

-Abyss Land, 13 hours earlier-

Dyrroth is sitting on the throne made out of what looked like rocks from a volcano. His face had a blank expression. His right hand is on the armrest of the throne and his head is resting on his right hand.

From the looks of it, he just left his friends and made them worry on purpose, including Ruby.

Oh sweet beautiful- I mean annoying Ruby. 

Dyrroth shook his head. Then he jumped out of the throne and landed on his feet. It's time.

It's time to put my plan to work.

He clasped his other hand tightly and closed his eyes. After a moment, a bright flash of violet light came out of his hand and it flew to a distance and out of sight. Then he realized that his spectres are spinning violently; A sign of his emotions.

Dyrroth took a deep breath and his spectres stopped spinning violently.

Meanwhile, in the deep crack of the abyss, Emperor Scorpion is still waiting for something outside after his teammates go to bed. Then he spotted a bright flash of violet light and immediately knew what it meant.

It was the Prince's signal.

Thin golden lines started to appear in thin air until they formed the outline of a door. It opened and Tigreal first charged out, shield in hand. Next was Granger, Alucard, Fanny -she flew out- Harith, the rest of the kids -Nana, Lylia, Ruby, Popol, and his wolf Kupa- and the outlines disappeared.

The lightborn squad looked different, their clothes and their weapons are different, everything looked different about them. So did Silvanna. She wasn't wearing her gown anymore, but a combat suit.

"Isn't the Light supposed to defend?"  Popol hissed.

"We are here to save." Ruby whispered back.

"Find Harley, Kupa, you know, the blond guy who's a narcissist," Popol said. Kupa howled then set off deep in the Abyss.

"Wait, this is the Abyss, it's dangerous, kids," Silvanna warned.

"Can you all just follow us?" Nana asked. 

 "That we can." Fanny winked. 

 "Let's go, we are gonna lose Kupa if we don't!" Lylia set off and everyone followed her. It took a long time to find Harley and when they did, Gloom stopped in his tracks. "What is it Gloom?" she asked. Once everyone saw what was in front of them, they froze.

In front of them are a group of orcs and demons and in it, we can make out Alice; the blood demon with big bat-like wings, white hair, and an expression that she just drank blood earlier, and Thamuz; an ashy demon that is fueled by lava, and a big vacant throne made out of volcano rocks in seemed. Among them were The ones that attacked the places that the lightborn squad mentioned earlier.

"That's them," whispered Silvanna. "That's the people who attacked those places, it matches the description correctly."

And in it, they spotted the guy with the Octopus hat. He was chatting with other demons seated around him. His expression was wry as he listening to all the demons who were asking him questions.
