Sienna and Harry's outfits for the NYT meeting on top. Sienna's (ugly bag) that Is mentioned during the story also. ^

By the time we got to the coffee shop, it was 5. We ordered a cold Latte, tea, and two sandwiches. I filled in Leia with everything that happened with the green-eyed guy, she was pretty shocked but not surprised because men have always been assholes. I had applied to three jobs and was waiting for a call back to set an interview. A while after that I checked my schedule for work tomorrow and I started at 10, which isn't too bad because it's not really early. Leia's going to drop me off to show me how the subway works. The train system was more complex than in Chicago because of the numbers.

I woke up on Sunday around 7 and got ready. I picked out a black dress and black vans. I didn't want to overdress but I also wanted to look dressed up. Leia tried to convince me into wearing her pair of black heels but I shot her idea down, I'm not falling straight on my face on the first day. So not worth a twisted angle.

When we got to the front of the Times building I kept trying to re-remember the way I took to get here, The cab fare was too much so this will have to do. Leia hugged me and wished me luck and left for her job. She works 20 minutes away from me.

There were a few receptionists at the front desk when I walked in. I went to a girl who had ginger curly hair.

"Hi, nice to meet ...."

She cut me off "Name" She said with a blank expression.

"Sienna, Sienna Emerson" I replied quickly.

She typed away fast and said "Here's your visitor pass, for now. They'll give you your work ID once you're upstairs. 35th floor" She said quickly.

I got on the elevator and reached the 35th floor. I should have asked her where I was supposed to go, Shoot. But I was saved by some girl with long black hair,

"Sienna?" She asked, wait how did she know who I was?.

"Yes?," I replied nervously.

"Follow me this way, Ms. Keller is waiting for you in her office". Before she opened the door to the office she asked, "would you like anything to drink?".

I replied "no", I don't feel like on your first day when someone offers you food or a drink before a meeting you're supposed to say no, maybe I'm just nervous and overthinking like usual.

She opened the door for me and whispered "Good luck" Only for me to be able to hear and I gave her a thankful smile. At least everyone here wasn't mean.

"Sienna Emerson, I've heard good things," Ms. Keller said before I sat down, I was going to shake her hand but she nodded me off.

"Hi, It's really nice to meet you. I'm thrilled to be working for you," I said, not knowing how to reply to what she just said. It was really nice Matt, the guy who scouted me out back in Chicago. I guess he really liked my work if he was talking good about me.

"Well see if it's true by the end of this upcoming week," She said in a challenging way and ignored me.

"I'm really looking forward to this opportunity and fulfilling all my duties," I said smiling a little too hard.

"We'll see about that," she said in a snobby way. Did I do something to tick her off?. I've heard she's rough,  I have a feeling this is the only start of what's about to come my way. The long black-haired girl came in and I'm guessing that was my ID in her hand, with a big binder and cappuccino.

"Ms. Keller the room for the meeting is set and the band should be here in 10 minutes"

"Mia, fill Sienna in about the meeting, then show her where it is, and Sienna loses the bag before heading there," Ms. Keller said with a straight face before leaving. I didn't think my purse was that ugly, I mean it wasn't fancy but it matched my outfit. Maybe it was all the pins on it.
