Avoid mistakes if any

Nandini brought Maira down and made her sit on the chair beside her and said

"Yahi pe rehna. Don't run over here and there."

She pouted but bobbed her head holding her link panda which recently Aryaman had brought.

Nandini took an apple and removed the peel of it and cut it and put it into mixer since she didn't have juice making machine.

She made apple juice out of it since Maira loves them alot. Keeping it aside she made small chapattis for her as veggie was already prepared. Making two she removed potato vegetable in a bowl and took the two chapattis and moved towards her holding a plate in her hand and the other hand the glass of apple juice.

"Chalo abhi yeh khao...aur nakhre nahi varna aapko yahi chod ke mumma Rexy ke sat chali jayegi." Nandini said warning her abd listening her Maira shouted

"Nai! Khilao" she opened her mouth and Nandini made her have it slowly with small small bites.

After few minutes Maira kept her panda down and taking the chapatti she moved her hand towards Nandini's mouth telling her to eat.

Nandini chuckled and took it in her mouth and said "Chalo pata hai abhi nahi khana aapko lekin aapko yeh khatam karna hoga..."

Maira pouted knowing her trick didn't get succeed... Nandini made her have the other chapatti and also the juice.

Later on she made Maira sleep and came down to clean the kitchen and after that closing the door she moved to her room and lied down beside Maira and fell off to sleep.

New York

Everyone were sitting on sofa waiting to listen Manik's dad's love story.

"So dad tell us how did you meet Shweta Aunt?" Amelia asked excitedly seeing her excitement Manik's dad and Alex's dad laughed.

"Ruko... I will...so basically mmm... actually Manik's mom came to New York due to her father's work since he was transferred here she needed to complete her education from here only. So first I met her in the college when she had come with her mother for admission."

Listening him they started imagining. Manik was getting little emotional as he was remembering her.

"Then?" Jennifer asked

"Then...she and me were in the same class...and we became friends then from friends to lovers...she was everything...she used to help everyone some used to bully her alot but she never cursed them....infact even I was told to do a dare on her before we could become friends..." Before he could complete Alex's dad stopped him

"No...no...wait I will say this"

Manik's dad chuckled making other laugh too.

"So he had to literally kiss her...but this fellow instead of kissing her he kissed her hand asking her to become his friend and they indeed became... I was like what the hell! But you know because of her I got a little sister." He said making all smile...

Jennifer looked at Alex who was sitting wrapping his hand around her shoulder. She smiled and snuggled more remembering their time.

"Ab mujhe bolne dega" Manik's dad said in American accent making others frown.

"Dad what did you say?" Manik asked to which he slapped his forehead.

"Nothing....listen then later we fell in love but whenever we used to meet her father used to scold her. Infact her family was very conservative. They never allowed any boys to come close to her but somewhere I was special for her. When her father came to know about us being in relationship he got angry. He never allowed her to go out of the house after that."

He sadly chuckled and looked down...shedding his tears he wiped them and again looking at them he said

"And I had to take away Shweta from that house since her father was going to get her married...after that we got married but they didn't accept me as I am catholic. But nevertheless my family and she just wanted us so she got it. And we stayed happy....after almost 8 years Manik was born...but she left the world after that." Listening him all were tears where as Manik was looking down at his hands thinking about his mom.

"But uncle how come Manik's name is like this? I mean we all are Brown...but Manik is Malhotra?" Listening Nick's questions everyone got curious except for Alex's dad.

"Well...me and Shweta decided to keep his name as Manik and about Malhotra Shweta's surname was Malhotra inorder to show her love towards him I decided to give him his mother's surname...and see if suits him too." Listening him Manik got up and hugged tightly.

"I love you dad"

"Love you too beta" they all smiled looking at them.

"Okay, enough now. Let's go do some fun...too much of emotional drama it happened... I don't want to spoil my health...get up let's go somewhere" Amelia said making them chuckle.

They all decided to go for a drive and also to have lunch outside only. All the way Manik was with his father.

Monday

Nandini got up from her beauty sleep and glanced at Maira who was sleeping peacefully. Without disturbing her she moved to the washroom.

After 10 minutes when she came out shs saw Maira whimpering in her sleep. She got scared and immediately went to her.

"Maira! Maira kya hua?" She took her in her arms only to feel her body burning with fever.

"Shit! Baby!" She cooconed her in her embrace and called Aryaman and told him to get Maira's doctor.

"Mumma!" She whimpered in her sleep and Nandini said sweet things to her to make her calm, make her believe that she is there beside her.

After 15 minutes Aryaman came with the doctor seeing him she kept Maira on the bed and she checked her.

Aryaman stood beside Nandini holding her through shoulders.

"Maira ko viral fever hai... I am giving her injection it will help her to calm down and also her fever will go down.  And make sure she rests alot." Nandini bobbed her head listening him.

Aryaman went down with the doctor and soon came back to see Nandini caressing Maira's hair.

"Nandini...stop staring at her she is fine."

"Aryaman...tum hi jao New York. Isko is halat mein leke jana thik nahi hoga..." She said to which he said

"No Nandini main kuch dino baad ki flight book kar lunga but I am not leaving you alone here understood?"

"Aryaman I will be fine here...aur agar kuch hua toh main turant tumhe call kar dungi...the deal is important so please go.... for me"

"Nahi Nandini...."

"You have to...otherwise I won't talk you at all" she said sternly to which he had to agree.

"Fine...main apne servant ko yahan bhej dunga he will be with you and tum na nahi keh rahi ho... that's an order from me." Nandini sighed but agreed.

He left from there pecking Maira's and Nandini's head. She sighed and took Maira in her embrace and lied down on the bed.
