Chaotic Together

chapter 3

Arinya pov-

I walked along the dimly lit hallways, it was dark now, I should probably start to head back to the dorm, but I didn't want to just yet. I gazed up at the vast collection of paintings that the school kept, most of the people slept within the canvases, I was careful not to wake them, I didn't feel like getting into trouble on my first day at this school. 

After walking for a little longer I came across a small wooden door with a gold label with the words 'astrology tower'. I carefully opened the door, and walked up the spiraling wooden staircase. It was a beautiful night, the air was cold but was refreshing on my face.  I reached the top of the staircase where there was a medium sized circle platform, looking over the courtyard of Hogwarts. I went over to the railing and looked out over the lake that snaked around the castle, breathing in the fresh air, letting the wind pull at my hair, tickling my face.

"It's a nice view innit," a voice came from behind me, I jumped a little, surprised but quickly composed myself. "Yes it is beautiful," I replied shortly, quickly looking at the intruder, I faintly recognized him as the one from the common room with the girl on his lap. I turned away from him, facing back to the view of the courtyard. 

"Yes well the scenery is pretty too," he smirked, I ignored him, rolling my eyes but with my back still to him. I felt his footsteps approach me from behind, then felt a cold hand on my waist, I spun around. 

"Excuse you," I sarcastically said, annoyed with his forwardness that wasn't welcome, I removed his hand from my waist. "What do you want," I said after he didn't say anything, I had turned to face him now, he was close to me, our bodies only inches apart. I inspected his face, he was quite handsome, with strong straight nose and jaw, his skin and lips looked soft, his hair shined in the moonlight, his smokey grey eyes gazing into my own.

He took a step closer to me, closing the distance between us, my body pressed against the cold hard wood of the tower, one of his hands reached up to hold my chin while the other snaked around my waist once more. "I know what you want," he said in a husky voice that sent tingles down my spine. I don't know why I didn't react straight away, I guess I was memorized, entranced. 

He smirked and I instantly snapped out of it, I look at the positioning of his hands and immediately removed them, I pushed past him and briskly walked back down the stairs and back to my dorm.

Draco pov-

I smirked to myself, I knew she had briefly liked how I held her, I knew she wanted more, I would just have to wait I suppose, I walked back to the common room where Pansy was waiting for me, I internally groaned, "dracyyyy where'd you go, come back here and give me a kiss" she said as she tried to grab me. I pushed past her, ignoring her and went straight to my own dorm. I lay awake thinking of the mysterious new girl, why had she rejected me? No one's ever done that, who does she even think she is? I sighed and turned over, I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to find out more.
