After Sing gave Ash the letter Eiji wrote, Akira peeked at the letter over Ash's shoulder, reading among with Ash in silence.
Amongst the mess of word and emotions Akira realised something.
Eiji loves Ash, and Ash also loves him.
It was way too obvious. The looks they gave each other, the words they exchange, the affection, the worries, the sacrifice.
Everything, everything had a sweet, pure yet intoxicating feel to it.
Akira observed from a distance. She known this had to come. She have to leave Ash, to let him go to his only loved person.
But love is cruel. Before she know it, she was falling, real hard for the boy she wants to protect.
When ever they touched, when ever they talked, when ever they fought side by side, taking down enemies after enemies. She felt it; the tingling feeling, the warmth, butterflies. The need to smash her lips with his, to ran her bandaged pale hand through his soft mess of blonde locks.
She wanted to look into his enchanting jade eyes with her own glowing blue eyes, and say

"Now go before I have to kick your ass to airport."she said with a mock tone of threatening.
"As you wish madam~" Ash bowed with mock respect.
Akira can't help but smile again, "You better take care of Eij-chan okey?"

"Now go before you regret it!" She said with a frown again, now with a more serious tone.
Ash nodded before he took off running at the opposite direction.
Then suddenly, Ash stopped and turned back smiling sadly at her.
A pang of regret made her heart squeeze 'what's up with him? Why can't he just leave?!'
"Hey! If I come back. I want to see your boyfriend or.... girlfriend...who ever you prefer...You get it?" He said rubbing the back of his neck.
"But remember one thing"
His sharp jade eyes soften in with a strange emotion, one she wished to see in his eyes for years directed towards her.

With that he turned and left for Airport With the tickets Eiji send him clunched in his hand.
Akira did not know how much long she was there like this, standing there, one single blue eyes widen; the other one covered with a black leather eye patch and red with unsheathed tears, mouth agap.
He is gone...he was finally leaving this place...he is fucking gone!!!
She wanted to scream, but her throat closed up, her mouth ran dry. She felt like chocking. No matter how much she tried, no sound will come from her lips.
