I scrolled through my instagram liking various pictures from a certain someone. I mean who wouldn't have a crush on her? She's beautiful, and funny from the little clips I've seen of her. I've never met her, I can never muster up the courage. I just have to find the right time.
" Stalking through Y/n's insta again I see." Christy, my hairstylist and makeup artist, said from behind me. I blushed putting my phone down. " I wouldn't call it stalking, more like....ummm researching." Christy furrowed her eyebrows. " Sure. You should Dm her. It won't hurt Gal."
" Sure and maybe I should go have coffee with Obama while I'm at it." I sighed. " You must not know how many people are shipping you two right now?" Christy asked. I shook my head."Well I heard some news that she would be announcing the awards at the Oscars today. But you didn't get that from me." she laughed. I smiled to myself and picked up my phone and scrolled some more.
After about an hour I was ready to make my way to the Grammys. The drive took forever because of where I live but it gave me more time play out how I would talk to Y/n today. The car came to a slow stop in front of this huge building. The driver opened the door for me and I took a deep breathe before stepping out, cameras flashing immediately. "Gal over here!" " Hey Gal this way!" Everyone was calling my name for me to pose for the camera so I did. I gave them the best smile I could manage.
After a hundred pictures I was led into the building and found my assigned seat. After about 20 minutes everyone was seated and may I say, there were a shit ton of people. " Welcome! To the 2021 Oscars! I'll be your host today Y/n Y/l/n, and I am honored to be standing here today." Y/n's beautiful voice filled the room and a small smile formed on my face.
Her skin glowed as the light shined on her from the stage and she smiled in between talking as she gave the awards out. " Okay so now we are doing Actor of the year." she opened the envelope and pulled out the card slowly to raise suspense. " And the Actor of the year award goes to.... Gal Gadot herself!" she smiled looking for me in the crowd. My heart dropped as I sat there looking around. Everyone looked towards me clapping their hands. I slowly got up and made my way to the stage. " T-thank you so much, it's an honor to carry this award in my hands and to be on stage with this beautiful woman next to me." Bold move Gal. Very bold move.
Y/n blushed as she stood next me through my speech. "Thank you! Everyone lets give another round of applause to Gal Gadot!" I looked at Y/n and as soon as I looked at the crowd she gave me a kiss on the cheek. The whole room erupted with whistles and cheering. My whole face flushed with happiness as I waved at the crowd grinning widely. I looked at Y/n one more time before heading back to my seat. Maybe she does like me after all.
