Melissa's POV:
I woke up to a rainy morning and Maddie yelling in my ear.
"what do you want mads?"
"DANCE TIME LETS GOO!!"
I checked the clock on the side table it was 11:30pm
we rushed to the aldc and headed to the competition
•AT THE COMPETITION•
"Maddie you have a solo and everyone's in the group except Mackenzie" Abby said
oh my goodness I realised that I forgot to check up on Mackenzie on the past few days I've been to carried away making maddie's costume and helping her with competition stuff. I can't leave now or Maddie will get upset I missed her performance but hopefully the nurses are taking care of kenzie.
Mackenzie's POV:
I don't know where my mom is but she's most likely at a competition with Maddie.
Parker came to meet me at the hospital everyday I liked that. a lot.
I love how he kept me company and cracked some jokes.
he made me happy, not by a fake smile but a real smile those smiles that showed your teeth and your eyes turn cringly. I wished I had more friends like him that actually cared about me.
I'm having bad thoughts at the moment about Natalie my used to be friend
we met in 5th grade we became friends because we always had races to see who get to the end of the monkey bars without falling off now she's forgot about me and wanted to be like the
"popular girls"
and left me to be one of those annoyingly rude people I felt like the pieces of my heart are fading away first my best friend then my family. what's next?
Parker too?!
I think I scared Parker because I had a mad look on my face for a long time.
"oh sorry Parker I'm not mad at you I'm just having.. well bad thoughts in my mind" I whispered
"oh I thought you were mad at me. I hope those bad thoughts disappear soon I love your smile" he said blushing
Parker got out of hhe hospital chair and kissed me on the cheek.
obviously my face turned red as a tomato I don't even know if he's my best friend or my future boyfriend but I want him to be both than I realised after Parker left to get some rest dylan came in.. he's my other best friend he's been here as long as Parker everyday but always after Parker leaves it's weird.
